Pours into a standard pint a clear slight orange tinged golden with a pillow-like full one finger white head atop that leaves a full ring of broken lace behind as it settles slowly.Orange peel and biscuit malts in the nose,a slight grapefruit note come out as it sits.A pretty unasuming palate with some orange peel and mild citric hops,a sweet biscuit malt base never gets overly sweet.I wont say a boring beer....it's not but lacks a little oomph I have to say.

12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big frothy white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet sugary citrus with some metallic off notes.

The flavor is bready malt with lots of sweet sugary citrus fruit and some resiny floral bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is mediuml bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, nice citrus but not a lot of hops with some odd malts.

12 oz can with a 30 June 2017 canning date.

Slightly hazy light amber body with a white head. Decent retention.
Hoppy and fruity aroma with dank and earthy tones.
Flavor: tangerine impact restricted to a bit of peel and pith. Moderate bitterness for style.
Soft but lively carbonation in a near medium body. Semi-dry finish.

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb of ivory colored head. Stellar head retention & lacing

S: Faint breadyness & citrus

T: Follows the nose, grassyness & orange peel up front. Dryness, grapefruitty bitterness mix with slight sweetness. Finishes dry with pomelo & a hint of pear & white grape

MF: Medium body, moderate carbonation & decent balance

This falls flat, but drinks okay

6/24/17...poured rusty orange copper, light white foam. Citrus notes, rinds, tangerine/grapefruit hints. Malty smooth, light peppery pine in the back. Toffee backed. Light sweetness balanced out. Super tasty.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tangerines, oranges. Taste is mild, tangerines, mild bitterness, no malts. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is ok, but I have had much better IPA's from this brewery.

- canned 05.12.17. Consumed 09.25.17 in spiegelau ipa glass.

A: Pale orange has a small haze factor, with an abundance of carbonation bubbles within. A spongey-foam head has a bready texture and a lengthy appeal. Nice thick spongey coating on the vessel walls offers a near glass covering.

S: The tangerine was tart and lightly dry uncapping. Light instances of pine-orange hops and tart grapefruit mingle with the tangerine addition. Light to moderate awareness and strength per style, slightly lasting.

T: The flavor was grassy-pine hops, lightly dry, with the tangerine peel showing a good force. Moderate amount of hoppiness, it was the tangerine peel that was the focal point. A bit of spiciness hits the tongue with some background flowery dry hop cones of grassy-pine nature.

M: Dry moderate mouthful with a standard carbonation texture has some flowery bitterness and dry tangerine bite on the tongue. Slick malt.

O: If you came for the tangerine peel addition, you won't be disapointed. Flowery hops are second fiddle to the standout tangerine here with a nice bittering finish. IPA proud dry hop flair and nice drink-ability gives this a flowery edge and bite of spiciness that will keep you looking forward to the next sip. Casual drinker with enough to keep things interesting through multiples with a light dry base for optimal summer time drinking.

Even though they are probably two years late to the game with this release, this is the perfect balance of fruit and beer when it comes to a fruited IPA.
