12 ounce can pours a very dark brown with a billowing head that dissipates quickly. Smell is caramel, roasted malts, hops, chocolate, toffee. Taste is where you get some coffee along with everything you smelled, including Brazil nuts and cashews. No bitterness. Mouth is watery, finishes smooth. Very easy drinking beer. Not bad. I would buy again and would order on tap if available.

Look: It pours dark brown with a brown head that has moderate head retention. It is fairly clear.

Smell: It has a chocolate and caramel aroma. The are background aromas of nuts, vanilla, and very light hops.

Taste: The caramel is the most prominent flavor with the chocolate very noticeable. There are low levels of vanilla and nuts with a light spiciness.

Feel: It has a moderate body with a moderately bitter finish.

Overall, the balance is towards the malts with the hops being noticeable and providing good balance.

12oz bottle poured into hooegarden glass

Pours a brownish white foam which doesn't last long

Brown sugar is predominant, a hint a coffee and chocolate, smooth. It's not strong as I downed this in 10 minutes. 5%abv

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via a friend from work---THANKS RANDY!
This solid representation of a brown ale pours a deep dark muddy brown with
an excellent head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and
features some nice sudsy lacing. Nose of roasted malts, toasted nutty malts,
and touches of brown sugar. Flavors exceed the nose by presentation alone
with medium brown sugar and nutty roasted malts tossed into a light earthy note
as well as a hint of coffee and light chocolate flavors. Solid mouth feel; medium
light body, medium light carbonation, medium body, and a nice roasted aftertaste that
is lightly dry.

Overall---a solid little ale.

Cheers

Poured into pub glass. Nice beige head. Dark brown color.

Nose has some roast, and a hint of hops.

Taste follows nose, plus rich nutty notes. Roast comes out on the finish. Taste blooms as it warms.

Smooth mouth.

A good brown ale, slightly on the darker side. About what to expect from an exemplary example the style.
