If you read what it says on the can, you know exactly what you're going to get when you pop this open. I like a flavored beer that delivers on its promise. Poured from 12-ounce can into a Rogaska crystal stange. Golden-colored body, with a touch of haze and an off-white head that disappears within seconds. Loads of carbonation that streams continually from the bottom of the glass. Big aromas and flavors as advertised: lime zest, mint, and ginger. First impression is key lime pie and spearmint chewing gum. Hints of yeast funk and sour apple. The sourness is quite restrained. Light mouthfeel, with a dry and slightly astringent finish. This is an outstanding and very refreshing summertime quaff. Let's play two!

Appearance: Borderline hazy, small white head, light lacing.
Aroma: Ginger dominates, lime chimes in with a note or two.
Taste: Tart. You still need to be a ginger fan. Citrus adds some variety. Spicy aftertaste.
Feel: Tingly carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied. Lingering finish.
Overall: Nothing to rave about, but not a drain pour either.

Crisp, this was exactly what I wanted when I wanted it. Definitely would drink again, I smashed the 6 pack so I maybe burnt myself out a wee bit but Avery doesn't disappoint

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 3/6/19, so closing in on 6 months old.
Cloudy, dull, dark orange marmalade colored body. Head quickly fizzes out to a ring, hence no lacing.
Tart salty lime juice aroma.
Upon tasting, this beer is brewed with lime zest, ginger, and mint. All three flavors come through strongly right away. Unfortunately, it's not a good blend, and the overall taste is a bit unpleasant.
Mouth medium, finish a tad tart with the aforementioned lime/ginger/mint mix.
Overall, I like the three flavors individually, but, it seems, not together.

Presentation: 12 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a Munique glass.
Appearance: The two finger, bone white head goes away fairly quickly and leaves behind a lot of thick, patchy lacing. It's a hazy, dull gold color.
Smell: The dominant notes are of mint and citrus fruit. There's a slight earthy funk in the background as well.
Taste: There's a lot of different flavors on the palate but they're well balanced and play well with each other. It starts with some tart fruit with hints of lemon and orange. That's followed by a strong herbal taste from the mint and it finishes with a mildly sweet grain note and some yogurt.
Mouthfeel: It's light, refreshing and not cloying at all with medium carbonation.
Overall: It's a very interesting beer with a lot of different and unusual aromas and flavors. Even though it's well made, it's bound to be divisive. Some will love it, some... not so much.

Color is golden orange. Nose is tart yet slightly sweet. Taste is very puckering then the sweet takes over and lightens the tartness. Interesting aftertaste.
