Poured from a 12 oz can dated 4/15/20, tasted 6/4/20.
Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a thick eggshell colored head. Head has excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma is mainly bread and citrus with a bit of barley. Pleasant, but a bit underwhelming.
Taste is a good balance of bread, orange, and melon at first. The hops show up in the center, and the Simcoe and Mosaic hops to me are more present than the others. Finish is long, slightly floral, and has a very slight hoppy bitterness.
Feel is darn near perfect especially for a 96 degree day like today. Solid carbonation but not overpowering, smooth and easy to drink, medium-light body. If I had 5-10% more of a hoppy bite on the tongue, I would probably have given it a 5/5 for mouthfeel.
Overall, probably my favorite showing from Avery so far. I’ll be keeping this one in my rotation.

Poured from a 12oz canned on 8-30-22
On the pour, one finger of fine white head formed, then over a couple minutes, it recedes down to a decent cap that leaves average lacing. Body is... well, hazyish... A yellow gold color with effervescent carbonation.
Aroma is bright, with a light citrus and sweet malt in the background. A bit piney in the hops, but more citrus. Slightly herbal.
Taste is quite light and refreshing for the ABV, with a bright citrus and bitterness that brings a rindyness. Surprisingly there is a decent maltiness here that brings a sweetness and a slight "pub ale" breadiness that hides behind the hops. Not all that bitter overall as it dies off quickly. Very easy drinking flavor.
Feel is dry and strangely light. Very easy to drink for the abv, but not in a juicy way, but more of a effervescent hop water sort of way. Despite that, the finish is long with a definite maltiness. Super refreshing, but I want it to feel a bit more full up front.
Overall this is an interesting beer, but it comes off as something brewed to appeal to everyone. In that aspect though it does work, since there were definitely aspects of this beer that I definitely appreciate. The maltiness is there, and its super easy drinking, but to appeal to as many, there will always be sacrifices.
Also this is strangely chuggable. Honestly if I were to shotgun an IPA, it would be this one. Attempt at your own risk, we (BeerAdvocate & I) are not responsible for ruined carpets or tummy-aches.

Draft pour into a pint glass.
Hazy pale yellow appearance with a foamy white head. Floral piney notes on the nose and palate. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel.

12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. Picked up as part of a $10 sixer mixer. CANNED ON: 08/12/21 printed on bottom of can so this is about 2 months old.
Appearance - Pours small half-finger white head with decent to low retention, lacing and stick. Body is a "hazyish" meaning opaque dull gold. 4
Smell - Very tropical fruity. 4.75
Taste - A bit sharp and acrid. Especially jarring since it has none of the sweetness hinted at in the nose. Sadly. But altogether not too bad once you've made peace with that nasal bamboozle. A little watery, but has a clean aftertaste. 3.75
Mouthfeel - A little acidic. Watery. But finishes clean. 2.5
Overall - Wouldn't recommend. Not bad, but doesn't really offer anything worth coming back for. 3

L-Hazy lemon yellow beer about 90% opaque with 3F white floppy foam head an medium lace.
N- Salt water, vegetable department notes, baked white bread, and yeast.
T-Peach, mango, orange juice, slight pineapple. Some light residual sugar keeps it juicy. Very light bitterness on the finish.
M- Medium bodied with a clean lightness. Not slick or dry just neutral like water. Light carbonation with fine bubbles.
O- I like the restrained hops on this IPA. Keeps it lighter and refreshing. A decent stab at a NE style ale without the high cost. An solid beer. A repeat buy for me.
