On tap today at Avery tap room. Port barrel-aged Reverend fermented with Bretts. Sampled it side-by-side with the Eagle Reverend. Amazing how different they were, both in taste and appearance. Caramel color with ample head and carbonation (the Eagle was much lighter in color). Smells and tastes tart, but not overly funky. Kind of refreshing, and very rich. Grapes, a little sour apple, sweet and fairly malty. Medium bodied, and so delicious I could drink quite a bit.

Although the base beer is a quad, I'm not sure why this is listed as one, given it's a sour.
