Well that's just a pretty beer. Orange and amber, always looks good, solid 1" head and retention. Aroma is citrusy dry hops.

Taste is phenomenal, lots of citrus and green hop notes, plenty of caramel in the body but it doesn't have the excessive bitterness that so often accompanies that kind of malt bill. There's some sweetness and thickness, but the hops are so varied and flavorfull, it kind of forgives the malt bill.

Deep amber orange color. Promises a big flavor.

Clean smell, not bold, at least not out of a cold fridge.

Big, round flavor, almost like dry currants. Mixed with classic IPA hoppiness. Hop profile halfway between DHF90, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (?!).

Mouthfeel is fantastic. Rich, finely textured, not over carbonated.

Finish is quite bitter.

Poured from tap into sniffer, half finger creamy head, nice lacing. Not much to the nose, my issue not the beer. Nice malt sweetness on the front end, getting mango, citrus and a little caramel sweetness. Has a great finish, not too dry or too sweet, minimal bitternes. Nice balanced beer

This beer pours a fairly hazy amber orange with a perfectly respectable head. The aroma of the beer is dominated by tropical notes of sticky sweet mango and very ripe pineapple. There is also a background note of onion and grassy funk. The flavor leads with mango and a touch of tangerine juice, followed by some pine, grass, and a fair amount of caramel. The mouthfeel is very full with a large amount of spikey carbonation. Overall this is a very flavorful beer, perhaps a touch to sweet for my tastes, but well done none the less.

Pours a slightly hazy deep amber. Pretty a head as you'd ever want to see: a multiplicity of bubble sizes comprise a deep meringue, with world-class cling. The mild aroma is grapefruity and piney. The taste is that of surprisingly refined, understated, but forthright, hoppiness. This is a dignified IPA to be reckoned with (and enjoyed!).
