Hazy. Bitter. Slightly grassy spicy hops. Nothing I like from a Pilsner. Maybe a yeasty keg.

Golden color, minimal 1/3" white head. Aroma hit the bitter, soapy notes. Light grain.

Grain comes off more sweet in the taste, floral noble hops. High carbonation, zesty presence, hits all the Euro lager notes without skunkiness. Grassy, floral, mildly lemon-esque hops.

Better than average representation of a lager.

Pretty good beer. Nice hop presence. Very easy drinking. Sudsy head with plenty of lace. Fairly well balanced. Decent finish.

Appearance: very light pale hay in color with a short white head that dissipated quickly. Lacings all around the glass.

Smell: notes of cracker and lemons. Maybe a little bit of rye?

Taste: cracker with a light sweet malt. Little earthy with slight notes of lemon. This is very tasteful. The cracker taste continue to linger around after a drink.

Mouthfeel: light-bodied and refreshing.

Overall: solid pilsner. Perfect when doing yard work or a day of fishing.

Served On-Tap

A — Pours a clear and bubbly pale yellow color into the glass, nice and quickly rising bubbles form an off white colored head which leaves behind some surprisingly consistent rings of lacing.

S — Smell is nice and somewhat assertive on the hop front, I get notes of pine and lemon on top of a lightly sweet Pilsner malt base.

T — Much like the nose, there is quite a hop presence here, almost overdone, but it just trails the edge of overboard. Light and refreshing Pilsner flavors are all here in good accord.

M — Light-Medium bodied, easy drinking and refreshing.

O — Good overall, a nice lighter option from Avery.

On tap at Swine in NYC village

I really thought this would be better. A: yellow, some lacing throughout, standard. S: typical
pils, not much skunkiness. T: light, slight crisp, I had better but it's ok. F: nothing too smooth but no lingering aftertaste. O: this is an ok beer, just think there is much better out there, style wise and from Avery

The beer comes in a hazy straw.

The beer offers flora hops, lemon grass, honey, onto a lightly sweet crackery malt in the middle, a light mouthfeel, onto a soft grassy bitterness on the finish. A light and crisp American pilsner.
