Tastes like a hefeweizen, mixed with passionfruit juice, mixed with a gose. It is interesting to say the least but hard to rate due to the uniqueness of the beer. Worth a try.

Passion Fruit, Fruity, Tart, Bitter
Cloudy pale yellow with a short-lived, snappy head, Liliko'i Kepolo has a fruity, wheaty, bready and spicy nose. It’s tart and bitter, but not overly acidic. Tropical and juicy with plenty of delicious passion fruit flavors and a tamed sweetness. The bitterness is a bit grassy with a pleasing edge of citrus zest, followed by a dry wheat character, soft spices and some doughiness. The addition of passion fruit is a sublime twist on the Witbier style and it makes for a great tequila back, too.
As reviewed in BeerAdvocate magazine #103 (August 2015).

On tap at Avery. Pours a slightly-hazed yellow-straw color. Light passion fruit. Quite fruity. Subtle, but absolutely there. Delicious. Super drinkable; had to get a second glass of this one.

Served on-draught into a stem-tulip at the Verdugo Bar in Silverlake, Los Angeles. Reviewed from notes taken during Verdugo's anniversary event. Due to the nature of the event (standing room only with few surfaces), I wasn't able to review as in-depth as I'd like. Expectations were high given the brewery and description.
A: Pours a two finger wide head of beige colour. Soft complexion. Fluffy and luscious. Head retention is great - about 6-7 minutes. Smooth texture. Great lacing and "legs" as the head recedes.
Body colour is a cloudy murky yellow. Poor vibrance; it's dull - kind of disheartening for a witbier. Nontransparent. Low translucence. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Passionfruit, mango, tropical fruit notes abound. Clean malts, wheat, clean barley. Floral and fruity hops. Lightly grassy. Pineapple. Crisp and refreshing as hell. I love the interplay between hops and fruit. A delightful aroma of moderate strength.
No yeast character is detectable. No clove. No alcohol.
T: Passionfruit is obscenely evocative here. Body is comprised largely of clean wheat and barley. Spritzy and refreshing. The floral and fruity hop notes complement the tropical fruit quite brilliantly. Really well balanced. Good complexity for the style; it's a unique approach to a witbier. Well put together. The fruit is a highlight for me personally; masterfully executed. Really a tasty beer with superb depth of flavour.
Mf: Smooth and wet. Refreshing. Excellent execution, with good body and thickness. Complements the flavour profile very well. Quite well done.
Dr: Extremely drinkable. I could happily down this all night, by the growler even. An excellent and unique witbier form Avery. I'd definitely get this again and would recommend it to friends. Hides its ABV very well. Really good stuff. Try it if you see it.

Look: Cloudy, thick, off yellow color.
Smell: Passion fruit up front hint of sweet smells and wheat.
Taste: Not what I expected. Not so much wheat but you get the spices and passion fruit.
Feel: Felt like a tart saison or even a sour. No where remotely close to a wheat which for me was a good thing.
Overall: Super tasty beer loved it!

Bought at Kroger's @ Swift Creek - Midlothian, Va 10/1/16. Date on bottom of can 9/3/16 (less than a month old!). 6 pack of cans was $12 plus tax! Amazing find! Poured a cloudy and hazy yellow gold and PUNCH you in the face Fruit, coriander and maybe a little bready malt. Awesome taste - passion fruit and medium amount of tartness but still later the malt (but not much!). Great combo and balance! Under-rated beer! Delicious break from the usual Hop Bombs! Can't recommend this beer enough - Absolutely best summer crush beer! Home Run Guys! Creamy and clean finish in the mouth. One of the best fruit beers I ever had! Beautiful!

Bright yet opaque golden in color with just a wisp of foam. Can't say that I know what passion fruit smells like but this beer brings tropical fruit such as Guava and mango to mind. Sweet fruit is balanced with just a bit of sourness. Creamy mouthfeel with a clean finish. Highly drinkable.

12 oz can. Pours extremely hazy dark yellow with a huge frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is lots of sweet tropical fruit (passionfruit I assume) with some wheaty malts.
The flavor is sweet and tart tropical fruits with some wheat malts and a little Belgian yeast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, tastes like a mild wit with lots of tropical fruit juice. I like it.

Pours cloudy gold with 1/2 inch head. Smell is tropical fruits. Taste is big passion fruit, hay, wheat, orange, and lemon. Very tasty. One of the more interesting takes on a witbier that I have had in a while. I am going to look to get more of this.
