Cloudy unfiltered yellow appearance gave way to a relatively weak, thin head.

Pretty stock Witbier aromas of banana and clove with a doughy, malt backdrop. Pretty subtle in scent.

The taste is pretty stock as well, with more banana and clove. Not bad but nothing overally different or overwhelming.

Very nice feel with an airy, bubbly refreshing character. Just not going to light the world on fire.

I was really impressed with this beer. Here's why:

Pros: Great, creamy mouth feel with a good flavor that was hard to pinpoint (I'm new at this; bear that in mind.) but had me picking up notes of white grape and oatmeal. Very nice subtle sweetness and great carbonation too.

Cons: The spice they advertised wasn't as bold as suggested. Kind of a mild twinge in the back of the palate.

Overall: I'd definitely buy it again. It tasted great and gave me the mouth feel I love in heavier beers without spoiling my appetite. I'll also add that it goes great with spicy foods like the curry I made last night. :)
