Consumed on draft at the Odio Equum release and 2013 Snallygaster festival, reviewed from notes. Bad Apple is a fully hazed grain golden in color with a ring of white head. The beer is pleasantly tart, moderately sour, with lots of green apple laid over the pale malt structure. Grain and white grape. Sour, lingering finish. Lively carbonation and a lighter body. A little simplistic as the apple dominates, but in a clean fashion without any sweet apple juice issues. Good but not on par with most any other Avery sour I’ve come across.
