Notes / Commercial Description:
This smooth, medium bodied American IPA will hit the spot. The intense citrus/pine aroma and taste is accompanied with a slight hit of caramel. After a huge dry hopping, one whiff of this guy will have you breaking out that old tie-dye and throwing on a best-of album. - Relive, enjoy

[Original rating 2015-06-12] Draft at Plum's in Beaufort SC. Pours clear dark gold with no head. Aroma is faint, lemon and maybe apple. Taste is bitter hops, not much malt to balance it. Not bad but not the best the area has to offer.

Copper colored with a fingernail of off white. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of spruce and piney hops. I’m tasting lots of pine and a hint of citrus. The pine lingers well after the fade. The mouth is lightly sticky and dry.

Pretty standard IPA, a little more pine needle and caramel for my tastes, but not bad. Astringent after taste. Drinkable.

Good color. More on the hoppy side of balance, and balance of citrus and fruity notes. Easy to drink IPA.

The art on the can looked cool and Savannah is a really fun town, but this was a huge disappointment. Too sweet, off flavor, heavy, prominent caramel malt, strong aftertaste, not particularly bitter, almost flat, hard to pinpoint, but just not right for a craft IPA, reminded me of my Icehouse days. Yuck.

I'm trying this in Hilton Head. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent was bland with slight tropical fruit presence. The taste was bitter through with citrus being the main contributor. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its ok.
