Assertive hop character enhanced by a smooth malt backbone are what define this IPA. Cranky™ showcases citrus and tropical fruit hops balanced by notes of black pepper and pine. At 6.8% ABV and 68 IBUs this IPA is cranky enough to satisfy your bitterest of dispositions.

Slightly floral smell and taste. Average feel. Color was light orange. Decent ipa, wouldn't go out of my way to find it but worth a try if you haven't had it. Would try it again but nothing other than average.

Golden murky straw in color, thin head, slight lacing. Floral & piney scents with a balanced malty backbone that has pepper. pine & pineapple overtones with a slightly bitter finish. Have had this on tap as well as in 12oz can and is a quite enjoyable brew that I look for when in Connecticut.

8/29/21...pale gold, hazed, light ring of white around the edges. Tropical fruit bent. Fragrant but subdued. Swift and peppery bitter with resins and oils. Sharp bitter. Mellows fast. Citrus surrounds.

12oz can served in a tulip. No date. Received from @WunderLlama in NBS BIF #14.
Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a fairly large head that collapses fairly slowly into about a half centimeter thick uneven layer with moderate lacing. Lots of active carbonation. Smell is mostly lemon and a little straw. Some honeysuckle sweetness.
Taste is interesting. Lemon is, I think the primary flavor, and straw is there but kind of buried in the background. Honeysuckle doesn't come across in the sweetness -- I think it comes across more as a grain tea sweetness. Definitely a lemon rind / grapefruit rind bitterness in the finish.
Mouthfeel is fairly light, clean, pretty refreshing. Overall, pretty good beer.
