On-tap 5/8/2015 at Track 84 in Warwick, RI served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains citrus, caramelized malts and some hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of strong citrus fruits, caramel and some spice. The hops presence is very subdued. The malt character is hearty and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Smooth and a little crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, not the best representation of style, there are definitely several other choices in the style that I would pick first.

A: Pours a light amber color with two fingers of off white head.
Retention is above average and the lacing is sticky and ample.

S: Pepper. Lemon. Toasted malts. Light citric smell.

T/M: Smooth. Malty. Nice pepper and pine taste. Light citric hop
presence. Malts seem to stand out a little more. The aftertaste is
on the bitter side but mostly clean. Basic light IPA taste.

O: Pretty much a session IPA. Light on hop taste. I've had better
session IPA's before. Still it's crisp and goes down easy.

Cheers!

Mellow flavor, low bitterness upfront but bitterness appears late and stays stays stays around for a long while.

Clear honey colored with a low head of white foam that disappears quickly. Aroma so low that I can't pick up anything. Flavors of hop bitters, more bitter than flavorful, but notes of pine and grapefruit pith come through. Balanced well with honey malt, but not much complexity of flavor. Watery and thin mouthfeel. Average beer.

Had many times at the brewery into a pint glass. Poured a clear amber color, small head barely sticks around. Balanced aroma of sweet and caramel malts with some good herbal hop notes, little bit of pine. Aroma overstated the hoppiness of this one. It's mostly malt (tastes like extract that's a touch oxidized) with a bitter finish and a quick taste of leafy hops. Notes of fruit due to the malt sweetness. Feel is heavier than expected, overall not a great beer.

Poured a little less than your typical orange hue for a high hoppy IPA. It did have a nice pine resin grapefruit nose, not too strong, but inviting.
The initial taste was a bit on the light side, the typical bitterness of a nice IPA was there, but not too dry.
Overall, pleasant, but something lacking in the total overall balance.

Not much going on here. Expected more of a splash from a "newcomer" than this tame mediocrity.

Despite being exceptionally fresh, canned 7/1, there was nothing pushing boundaries here. I only wish the can hadn't promised me the tropical notes with hints of pepper that led me to the cash register. Oh well, glad to support local brewing.

From the 12 fl. oz. can. Sampled on August 23, 2016.

The pour is golden-yellow under a tremendous white foamy heady that eventually settles back. Good clarity.

The aroma is white bread, sour dough, grass, herbs, and a touch of citrus. But everything is muted.

Medium body but quite smooth and lovely on the tongue.

The taste tends to highlight the white breaded malt notes rather than the hops but the hops are more herbal than anything.
