12oz can served in a pint glass
Great orange gold color with a nice frothy off white head that falls slowly. The smell is a strong dose of caramel malts along with a multilayered hop experience with notes of grass, spice, pine and a bit of citrus all apparent. Tinglingly bitter yet the hop flavors are a bit restrained as the spicy and piney are the only two that really come through. The base is solid but really not sweet at all as the hops are the focus. Overall this is fairly dry and a little on the bitter side the relatively high alcohol is nicely masked making it quite drinkable. Overall this is a new favorite of mine from another great local brewery!

Pours a hazy orange with a very small, white head. The smell is strong on citrus, as is the taste. One can notice the hop profile in this beer, as the citrus is balanced with heavy hop tastes.

12 oz can was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale orange color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Lemony, grassy, spicy, and piney hops followed by caramel and toasted malts.

Taste: Grassy, pine, lemon, and spicy hop glavor with toasted, biscuity, and caramel malts. Lingering bitterness in the rear too.

Mouthfeel: Smooth, a little chewy, lingering bitterness, light to medium bodied, and medium carbonation.

Overall: A nice IPA from CT. Good flavor and worth revisiting.

Nice foamy 1/2 finger head, nice lacing, hazy golden pale color.

Nose light, touch lemon zest, grassy, little spicy and resin, little husky grainy, pretty light.

Taste grainy little cracker doughy toasted malt, then grassy hops, little floral and mild fruity, fair bitterness, some noble hop grassy characters later. Finish little dry crisp, fair bitter grassy noble hops, little malt.

Mouth is med bod decent carb.
