Notes:
With Double Ruffled, our wings spread wider, and the feathers get more ruffled. Luscious, fresh-pressed textures burst with juicy tropical notes, while a balanced bitterness leads to a clean and crisp finish. Flavors of ripe mango, blueberry and bright citrus, from generous hoppings of El Dorado, Azacca, and Mosaic hops give this surprisingly hazy Double IPA a brilliant clarity of flavor.

From a 16oz can, dated smudge/10/18. Served in a tulip.
Pours a lightly hazy, pale lemonade colour with a scant finger of soft, soapy head. Retention is meh, leaving a thin collar and a smear of lacing.
Soft, subtle, sweet nose of shortcake, orange flowers and something I can't quite put my finger on, sort of like cardboard or, better yet, like the inside of a bakery box.
Taste pretty much follows the nose, a creamy orange or tangerine sherbet character with berries and vanilla cookies. Softly sweet, flowery, almost papery, low-but-not-entirely-lacking bitterness. Yum.
Feel is lightly juicy and no more than medium bodied with adequate carbonation. A clean, crisp, smooth, easy drinking beverage that goes down like a beer half its abv.
Overall, that was delicious! Every time I think I've tasted everything that the NEIPA style has to offer someone brews up something unique.
