Met some friends here, who had been asking us for over a year to come down to Branford and check it out. We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon in the winter, around 2 pm. Huge parking lot, which I was told gets filled in the nicer weather. Impressive brewery, quite large. Had been a metal fabricating business long ago. Large taproom, with a fire in the fireplace, which is surrounded by couches, in addition to the more traditional seating. There is a deck overlooking what could be Stony Creek, and a marina. Below that was more outside space. In the summer it must be quite the scene!
At the bar there were 18 beers listed, with 2 sold out, so a good selection of beers that are available across the area, and beers that were only available at the taproom. I started with Dank Feathers, a NE style DIPA: I got my spouse a Garza as she prefers light beers. I knocked down my DIPA in minutes, then ordered a flight for my friends arrival. The place started to fill up quickly. Once our friends arrived we sampled the flight and had another flight. The flights are four 5 ounce samples for $12.00. There was a BBQ food purveyor right next to our table (Stony Creek doesn't serve food) so we sampled the wings, which were excellent. By the time we left at 4 pm the place was packed. I look forward to another visit in the warmer weather!

Very strict and rigid polices. Multiple bouncers greet you at the door, on a Sunday afternoon. No dogs allowed, not even little ones. No hard coolers allowed. If you buy cans from them, you cannot drink them under their roof, must take them with you.
A very nice facility, but otherwise a waste of time.

We visited Sunday, the location is quite nice, old industrial complex along the river,
Docks for boaters, plenty of parking for us landlubbers. The team welcoming people and checking ID's were very informative, about the flow, live music, ground rules, food trucks, a welcome and professional touch.
15 beers available as well as some mixed drink drafts? Staff was a bit distracted, no real order system, the building and brewery are quite nice.
Outdoor setting and both outdoor decks are well laid out. Food offerings were 2 trucks each very good. The beer I stuck with was the Vienna Lager, Wife did not enjoy a blond stout. Pours were $6 the Vienna Lager was quite good.
Some retail at the entrance was also a good thing.
Worth the trip for us

Nice multi tiered spot on the water with plenty of space. Ground level with games, deck attached to main barroom and a lofted space that was hosting a wedding. Food trucks and carry-in food. About 8-10 offerings from session to barrel aged stuff. Nice spot with a diverse crowd, good music, and fun for all.

Visited the new Stony Creek Brew pub that just opened up in Foxwoods. Place hadn't been open more than 2 hours when we got there (actually showed up earlier and they weren't open yet), but despite some opening day point-of-sale problems, staff was VERY friendly, and cheerful. Beer was excellent!

A really nice spot on the water - beautiful facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. I'm not a fan of their beer, but they have guest taps and a full bar, so there are plenty of options.

A couple good beers. (Little Cranky). No really good beers. Great outside ambiance right on the water.

Beautiful place located on the edge of a river. When I went, it was packed with people, mostly 20 somethings. I ordered a sample of beer, mostly Cranky variations and ended up leaving most of them on the table. The beer is very clean, however it is pretty pedestrian. Each one of the ones I tried only had a bitterness quality to them with little to no malt flavor, or distinguishable hop aroma. I would stop by again and try some of their other offerings, however their beer really fell flat based on what I tasted.

First time submitting a review always appreciate the well informed opinion:
Snow Hole from Stony Creek brewery without a doubt is the finest read Ale I have experienced for all the reasons that I've already been expressed… though there's a lot of taste from everyone of this brewery's bears they often leave a little bit too much of a resin or oily mouth feel for my predilection… though there are some tough critics here This is close to a five stars I could think but no one wants to give the five star-you always want to think there's something just a wee bit better

Love this place. Wish it was closer to home. Crowded but easy to get served.

This brewery has a "winery" feel to it. It's a gorgeous site.
