Pours a hazy orange with a small head and some lacing.

Smells and tastes of citrus and pineapple with a slightly bitter finish.

Medium heavy body with very light carbonation. Clean dry mouthfeel.

Very drinkable. Should be likable for folks who don’t like bitter IPA’s

Thick, juicy IPA. A quintessential example of the New England style. Not intense in any way, so it’s missing that upside. But it’s so solid all around.

Pours a very hazy straw color with an off-white head. There’s some noticeable suspended marginally larger particulates in the beer. A blast of tropical fruit on the nose which promises a lot - pineapple, tangerine, citrus, pine, hops. Taste was solid, but I expected more given the pronounced aroma. Still delish with less than expected tropical fruit mentioned earlier and a well balanced bitterness of resin which is short lived. Overall an excellent brew.

Hazy orangey yellow with a finger of off-white foam, plenty of lacing on the glass. Tons of juicy citrus in nose and taste, living up to the name for sure. Get grapefruit, orange and lemon in particular. Nose has lime, guava and mango in the background. Taste has light hop bitters with lime, mango, big peach and floral kisses on the finish. Feel is juicy to the max, would like a bit more hop texture. Plenty bright, clean and medium bodied. Well done juicy ipa for anytime

I visited a local craft beer store looking for something different at least a different IPA and came across this IPA. I wasn't sure at first, but looked at the six-pack very carefully, more specifically the ABV for sure. 6.5% okay. SOLD. Actually, this is a really good IPA. Excellent.

This is a really easy drinking beer at a great price. Found it on sale many months back and have never been disappointed.

Nice color, great flavor, and easy to find, solid NEIPA style beer.

Often these citrusy IPAs are a bit thin and unexciting ... This one does it right! Beautiful cloudy appearance, authentic citrus nose and a full bodied flavor make this a winner

Juice Bomb from Sloop Brewing is aptly named as it delivers fruit heavy notes and a bomb AF overall flavor.

This IPA pours a hazy straw color. A little more murky than you'd expect from a very fruity IPA. A one inch thick foamy white head dissipated pretty quickly and left a little bit of lacing.

Juice Bomb is Floral and sweet to the nose. High notes of orange and lesser of tangerine or pineapple. The scent is bright and inducing.

Those bright scents come through even stronger in the taste for Juice Bomb. It is sweet and full of citrus but still hits with a hoppy bite. Imagine the sweetness of Blue Moon drank by a Voodoo Ranger in the Sierra Nevada Hazy mountains.

Light and refreshing, Juice Bomb is an extremely easy drinker for a 6.5% IPA. Good carbonation and a zesty sting on the tip of your tongue.

This IPA delivers on every aspect that you're looking for. I typically lean towards heavier and hoppier beers but this citrus filled Juice Bomb is one of my favorites. Grab yourself a 6-pack and enjoy this juicy explosion.

From a 12oz can dated 10/29/[illegible]-assuming 20 into a pint glass. This can of beer was VERY full. Beer splashed all over the place when I opened it-filled up to the tip-top of the can.

Pours an opaque yellowish orange with about one finger of whitish head. Not so great head retention and moderate lacing.

Smell: Well, they were right about Juice. Picking up mainly citrus. A lot of orange, tangerine and grapefruit.

Taste follows although not as pronounced as the nose. Moderate amount of bitterness.

Drinks very easy with a soft mouthfeel. Like drinking, well, juice. Low carbonation. Slight bitter aftertaste.

Overall, it nice. I'm spoiled to have occasional access to Trillium and Tree House brews. This is not that, but it's drinkable.

Served in a flute glass from the can.

Appearance: Very cloudy gold color with medium bubbles creating a white head which rose subtle to the very brim of the glass.

Smell: Floral and orange juice scent. Strong but leaves the nostrils fast.

Taste: like the title, juicy citrus with hints of smooth hops.

Mouth: Sticky body soft carbonation.

Overall: Good brew, complex in taste without killing you with a crazy abv. Definitely a must buy for any IPA lover.

Pale creamsicle orange in color with an unfiltered, opaque appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy white foam with medium low retention. Sweet, citrus fruity aromas with light notes of berries. Medium light malty aroma. Medium bodied with a soft, creamy feel, and pleasant warmth. Sweet citrus fruit and malty flavors with medium light hop bitterness. Fruity flavors continue on the back end. Easy finish, with light, sweet fruity notes and light malt flavors. Fruity, juicy and crushable. A tasty NEIPA, but nothing terribly spectacular about it that makes it stand out amongst the others.

Modest head, even surface, just off white, lacing more splotches than streaks. Completely opaque liquid, standard apricot puree look, no deviation from the norm. Strong, consistent leafy dankness to the nose, tangy grapefruit citrus gives it erect bearing, tar resin, pine sap, the fruit scents mainly pineapple, apple, nectarine to passion fruit, all wiry muscle and no juice. Medium-bodied, fluffs itself up through the attack then the carbonation settles down so it can soak in some as it progresses across the palate. Good balance so no one component sticks out as dominant. The white grapefruit, lemon citrus comes close but there’s sufficient floral notes, caramel and bread dough to keep it in check. More richness in the fruit here, pineapple, guava, nectarine, kiwi, neither sugary nor tart. Hits you with some pine, black tea leaf at the end. Basically it’s a telegraphed fastball right down the middle of the plate. (Canned 6/26/20)

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3. Canned on 6/11/2020, so this is being consumed just over 1 month old.

Look: Super hazy, orange, and almost opaque. Rocky white head about an inch high dissipated to a wispy layer of white bubbles that sit on the surface.

Smell: Intense citrus aromas - pithy grapefruit rind and fresh-squeezed orange juice are immediately present. Guava coming through after giving the beer some time to settle. Also interesting that I am getting green pepper notes as I swirl the glass. The nose finishes a bit spicy with that green pepper note, and there is also a yeasty, doughy component. Overall, the beer almost smells like Vitamin C chewable tablets and it is a little weird, but also not uncommon with some of these NE IPAs. To me, it's not the most appealing aroma association.

Taste: Sweet up front and on the mid-palate, but then quickly leaves with a bitter, hoppy finish. This beer finishes very dry and citrusy, but not citrusy sweet. It just finishes aromatically citrus with the bitterness of orange and grapefruit rind and pith. I'm detecting some hop burn here....this is just over a month old, but since this is the first time trying this beer I cannot say if there is a freshness issue here or not.

Feel: Very soft, creamy mouthfeel. It's an interesting contrast to the intense citrus flavors and bitter finish that this beer unloads onto your palate. It's so creamy that it's almost flat though - to me it seems like the carbonation is a bit low.

Overall: This is a solid beer. I'm just not sure how I feel about it. It almost feels like it's missing something, but I'm not sure what it is. After having so many other beers of this type and style, many of them start to taste the same. This beer doesn't really have anything distinguishing about it compared to other Hazy IPAs. It's very well-made and this is a tasty hazy IPA that finishes somewhat bitter and quite dry. Not the most crushable beer for my taste. To me, the smell is much more juicy than the taste. Not my favorite example of this style.

12 oz can into a Teku glass.

Pours an opaque bright orange color with a finger of fluffy white head. The head leaves a ring of lacing as it settles into a thin sheet.

The aroma brings notes of orange cream, tangerines, and grapefruit with some pineapple and mango and a hint of pine. The doughy malt is present on the back.

The flavor starts off with some oranges and grapefruit, then pineapples and mangoes and a metric asston of papaya. Nice malt backbone.

The feel is medium bodied with lower carbonation. Very soft and creamy with a dry finish.

Overall, this is definitely a great NEIPA that has a soft body and a ton of fruity hop flavors. Drinkable and well-balanced, and you can't go wrong with the price.

If you've experienced alot of the great juicy beers New England has to offer this will likely disappoint you. Had another pretty good beer from Sloop but this one definitely missed the mark. Unpleasant aftertaste that sits on the tongue and the back of the throat, average nose and sharp over carbonation for the style. The high score confuses me. I feel my score is generous.

Poured into a 10 oz stemless tulip glass canned on 5/26/2020. Pours a very attractive hazy orange with a finger sticky white head, that leaves some thin streaks of lace with solid retention. 4.5

Smell is tangerine, pineapple, papaya, mango, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows tangerine, pineapple, mango, papaya, and apricot really one dimensional and that is not a shot. Low on bitterness, but really tropical and tasty. 4.5

Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, soft gentle carbonation, not dry or sticky, and at 6.5% it drinks a little bigger, but is extremely easy drinking. 4.5

Overall this is a tremendous NEIPA that at $12 a six pack will become a staple in my fridge. Rarely do you find a beer of this quality at this price, this will be a fridge staple. 4.5

Smell is tropical..pineapple,mango, grapefruit and some orange.

Mouth is smooth and semi creamy with a grapefruit peel upfront and orange predominantly. The mouth isn't as sweet as the nose but is still nice and juicy. Finishes with an ever so slight hop burn/bitterness. Very drinkable.

Pours a hazy, completely opaque bright orange color. Two finger white head dissipates leaving a splotch of white foam on top of the beer along with some nice white lacing. While it does have that completely opaque look of the NE style IPAs, it does not look sludgy or turbid. For the style, this appearance is exactly what I want.

Aroma has notes of orange, orange creamsicle, guava and mango. Lots of fruit but with a green hop twinge underneath it.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange creamsicle, frutabomba, and mango - the sweetness takes on kind of a batido like profile as it has those fruity notes but with a distinct creamy sweetness. Green hop burn noted on the back end.

Feel is medium bodied with a bright, prickly carbonation. Mild bitterness on the back end is palpable.

Overall a really nice well crafted NE style IPA.

12oz can served in a little sample glass. Part of Untappd virtual beer festival.

Pours hazy, pale yellow, medium head that fades pretty quickly. Smell is moderate in strength, juicy, leans toward tropical but is fairly ambiguous.

Taste is overripe guava, moderate to strong resin bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, moderately filmy. Overall, good beer.

12oz canned 4/23/20. Opened 6/13/20.
1/2" white head, fades to a cap quickly. Orange juice color, fully hazy IPA. Ample lacing.
Add a point for a well integrated unfiltered pour, no sludge.
Citrus and tropical aromas. Oranges lead the way. Mango. Faint doughy malt.
Orange is the main flavor, some melon and mango as well.
Medium body, soft mouthfeel and low bitterness.
Medium length hoppy (not bitter) citrus and tropical fruit filled finish.
Very Good.

12oz can tasted during the Untappd Virtual Beer Festival.

Opaque, hazy, orange with a thick head and lacing to the end. Citrusy nose. Soft on the palate. Tons of orange. Like the whole orange; flesh, juice, rind, and peel. Juicy. There's some tropical notes, too, but mind is locked into "creamsicle." Some bready, oaty, and wheaty malt flavors. Just enough to balance things out and let the juice shine. Light bitterness. Dry finish.

As advertised, this is indeed a juice bomb. It's soft and juicy AF. I love this beer.
