A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving lots of small specks of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edges and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of stone fruit and lime citrus are present in the nose along with hints of pine.
T: The taste is a near mirror image to the smell and is mostly dominated by flavors of stone fruit and lime along with some hints of pine towards the finish. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this New England-style IPA does a very good job at showcasing the aromas and flavors of the Mosaic hops.

Tall can direct from the source a few days ago...stuff stamped on the bottom is unreadable.

Standard NEIPA hazed up pour, moderate tiny bubble cap, film and low ringed sheeting left on the glass.

On the nose its candied tropical fruit, and some flowery perfume.

Tasty brew, more tropical fruits, with mango, tangy lime, pineapple as well as some ginger coming forward....more fine beer from local to me Sloop

Thanks to TongoRad for this one from the Secret Santa BIF. 16oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured the, by now, expected turbid orange of the style, with an inch of white head that had good retention and lacing.

The aroma was certainly hop-forward, and as I swing back-and-forth on my opinion of mosaic, this one smelled really nice; semi-sweet and fruity, but had no foundational grains.

Pretty similar on the tongue, hop forward, no malt, but, the hops were more bitter and harsh than in the nose.

The body was smooth, had good carbonation across the tongue, and had a medium finish.

Drinkability was fine, although, as mentioned, Mosaic may not be my jam.

Overall, a pretty nice brew, one I'm glad I got to try (as my couple other beers from these guys left me whelmed, at best), maybe not one I'd seek out again, but, as always, YMMV.

Great brew highlighting mosaic hops in all there glory. Juicy, lush, and slightly rindy on the finish. Tropical fruits and a just ripe pear flavor add to a nice complex beer for a brew that highlights a single hop. Very good and very drinkable.

O - my favorite from sloop so far

L: A light amber that pours with 2 fingers of tan white head. It lingers for a little bit and leves some nice lacing all the way down the glass.

S: So, so good. Citrus fruits, pineapple, mango, some grapefruit.

T: Follows the nose, but not as intense. Probably not possible. Some pine bitterness on the finish.

F: Moderately carbonated with a medium body. Taste lingers.

O: It's hard to go wrong with mosaic and these guys did quite well. I had more than one.

I had a few of these today at Sloop Brewings tap room. This beer is fantastic. The nose is absolutely intoxicating on its own. The mouth feel and taste follow suit and are fantastic as well.

Holy sh*t...this beer is dangerous! 12oz poured on tap at NF Griffon Pub. Absolutely no bitterness; peach, pineapple, white wine all mix together to make this beer pure juiciness; more so than their regular Juice Bomb. Standard look to the beer; not quite cloudy and not transparent. Persistent lacing on the glass. New York breweries are making their own dents into the NE IPA style; so much so that NY IPA (Grimm, Singlecut, Sloop) may very well become the new "it" category. If this ever gets statewide distribution in cans, I know I'm buying as much of it as I can!

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a light amber, with slight orange tinges, a small head, and lots of lacing.

Smells quite typically Mosaic, sweet berry, pineapple, candied grapefruit. The pine bite that made Juice Bomb so nice is absent, though.

This isn't quite as good as regular Juice Bomb for me, but that's probably because Mosaic is not one of my favorite hops, especially when used as 100% of the hop bill as it is here with this beer. It it tasty though, a slight malt backbone, just enough to ground the beer and provide heft, with blueberry, candied grapefruit, candied pineapple. It's pretty sweet with very little bitterness, if any. It's not super balanced because of that.

This is medium bodied, with a good level of carbonation.

Another awesome one from Sloop. Not as good as the regular one, but still nice.
