Poured from a 16oz growler filled to the brim into a Spiegelau IPA glass. I don't know the keg date, but from growler fill to glass pour was about 30 mins.

L - Slightly red hue. I'd like a little bit more crimson in it, but all in all, it's definitely reddish. Two-finger thick, white head filled the glass before all of the beer left the growler. Head settled down but maintained a thin coating.

S - The aroma seemed underwhelming (however I am getting over a cold right now), but it smells like pure grapefruit to me. Like you just cut open a grapefruit. That gives me high hopes for the taste, as I enjoy grapefruity IPAs, and I wonder how that will play with what should be some toastiness from being a red IPA.

T - Grapefruit is the first taste to register on my tongue. Surprisingly, there is no toastiness. Literally none. This is basically a reddish, clean, crisp IPA. There's not a lot of bitterness, and what is present appears at the end; especially if you lap your tongue against the top of your mouth. The crispness I described comes from the grapefruit flavor which brings with it an almost sour sweet taste that you would expect with an actual grapefruit.

F - Carbonation is appropriate. I described it previously as clean tasting, which carries with it a lighter mouthfeel. Again, surprising that they were able to do that in a red IPA.

O - I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this. At $10 per growler fill ($2.50 for my 16oz), this is a great buy. I tend to bounce around and try a bunch of different beers, but this is one that I would be pleased to find again.

Drank this at the Boynton in Worcester. The beer had a murky brownish-amber appearance with a light white head and some white lacing. Aromas included some balanced hops, malts, with some tea. Taste was pretty good and refreshing thanks to the mouthfeel. The beer was generally sweet with that tea/malt flavor combination. The mouthfeel gave the drink a nice medium body, making it refreshing with my meal. Overall, not too bad.
