Notes of caramel on the aftertaste, but sort of in a diacetyl sense. Highly recommend you don't try this beer, think, astringent, and just pretty terrible

Sampled at THT June tasting. Clear pale golden with a white head. Boiled corn, sugar and that is it. Not even worth the 150 characters required for this review.

From a bottle, pours as clear gold with a thin white head that quickly dispersed. Really subtle aroma like an Corona or adjunct beer. Hops and Malt are nicely balanced, but there are also distracting corn, grass, and rice flavors. The carbonation makes for a refreshing beverage, but it's just OK as a beer.

1 litre brown glass screw-top bottle nabbed at a Lisbon supermarket as a fuckabout beer for a sub-2 euro price.

Taste is malty. Hop-bereft. So simple balance isn't even a factor; there's no second note to keep in harmony. Shallow. Brief flavour duration.

Lacks the stale and metallic notes that trouble so many (even more) inferior attempts at the style.

Overcarbonated, smooth, wet, medium-bodied.

Downable cheap swill for students and the apathetic hoi polloi. A couple notches above the usual pale lager fare found in Europe, and fairly priced for its meagre quality. I would buy it again merely by virtue of price to quality ratio, but that doesn't make it a recommended brew. If anything, its neutralityand insipidness are its key strengths, particularly since it avoids being watery.

High D+ (2.50) / NOT RECOMMENDED

Head goes down fast, usual lagerish look.

Aroma is refreshing, hoppy and fresh.

Very fizzy, like sparkling water. Quite refreshing, though not much in the way of flavor to comment on. However if I was in Portugal on a hot day in the sun, this would be very welcome.

Nothing unpleasant and very crisp and fresh. Though it really does mostly taste like fizzy water...

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. Watching Vikings 4x01. Very corny, with a strong unpleasant bitterness that reminds me a cruzasco although less herbal
