Alewife and I stopped into this brewpub three days out of four while we stayed in Prague (02-04OCT13). I had two glasses of this on each visit, a 0.4l glass costing 56 CZK each (aprox $x.xx).

The glass was filled with a deep, clear copper liquid. It was a nice hue, and the head was an off-white, mousse-like blob. Very good lacing was stuck to the glass. The aroma evinced some caramel malts, and the smoke was readily evident. It was medium smooth, with a decent body.

Light caramel led off, with a bit of toastiness. It was dry, with good floral hopping. The rauch aspect was a solid backbone in this one. It was not strong like Schlenkerla, but a bit understated while being noticeable, like Spezial in Bamberg. Smooth and solid. Prosit!

On draught at the brewery in Old Town, color is pale amber with a scattered white head. Smell is sweet and modestly smokey, no peat I'd guess.
Taste is nicely balanced, clean sweeet malt, some caramel, and some very light phenolic smoke. Ligher, crisp but not sharp, very delicous smoked amber.
