The Begyle Blonde is good and a solid blonde. It poured a golden clear with no head and no lace. The scent is biscuit. The taste is evenly balanced and easy to drink....very sessionable. There is nice bread notes and a touch of sweetness. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. overall it is decent.

12 oz. bottle, bottled on date 02/17/16 printed on the label. Nice to see Begyle bottle dating their stuff. My second twelve ounce bottle from these guys; acquired a single bottle as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's.

Poured into a Duvel tulip snifter.

A - Pours a tawny golden body, not quite copper-colored, but a bit darker than the usual blonde ale. Semi-transparent. Carbonation appears apt. Minor thin bubbly lacing that doesn't really stick.

S - Aroma is pretty bland and uninteresting. As promised, slightly estery, with some faint notes of sweetened bready malts. Slight mustiness. Not offensive or off-putting, but there isn't enough going on here to call it pleasant either.

T - Taste is the same: bready, grainy, yeast, again, slightly estery with notes of grapes. A simple brew, with perhaps very slight trace of a fruity hop presence.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, & creamy. Light-bodied and easy-drinking stuff, with a dry finish.

Overall, a pretty average blonde ale offering from Begyle. Not a whole lot going on here at all, and nothing that makes it stand out. Worth a try, but i wouldn't have it again.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/14/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, cracker, biscuit, white bread dough, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is a delicious American blonde ale! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity yeast, honey, bready malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very spot on stuff for the style. Nice rich malt flavors, balancing hops, and a characterful yeast profile that is well restrained. A very enjoyable offering.
