Had on tap. Amber with a hint of burnt orange clear pour, cream colored head. Smell has sweet citrus and malts. Taste has the citrus lead with light hop bitters accenting the lush malts and mild yeast. Thinner yet malty, simple crusher for St. Patrick's day, but the brightness and crisp finish is really well done, pulling the style into modernity a bit more. The wife liked it

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a clear garnet-amber topped by a finger of pale khaki foam. The nose comprises light candied orange peel, mild grass, light flowers, and a touch of caramel. The taste goes harder on the caramel and grass, tossing in some mushroom, loam, and orange pith for "good" measure. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda drying finish. Not a major fan o' this one, kids.

16oz can, dated 02.09.2022, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass.
The beer pours a very nice amber red color, copper and garnet hues, fairly clear with a finger or so of bone colored head that offers mild retention and nominal lacing. The aroma is quite nice, lots of amber malt, red grain, caramel, earthy hop, and yeasty fruit. The flavors are good, modest hop bitterness, earthy flavor with a nice grassiness, candied citrus rind brings out the hearty malt, lots of amber and caramel maltiness, smooth and with a lightly sweet finish of yeast and fruitiness. The mouthfeel is good, coating and lively with a nice medium body and a lightly crisp finish.
Verdict: A very good Irish Red Ale. Simple, concise, balanced, and very approachable. I used a can to make a beer bread that was fantastic as well. Definitely a great beer to welcome spring while still being hearty enough for the final weeks of winter.

Canned 2/9/22; drank 2/24/22 @ the Yarchives.
See through amber appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big, noisy khaki head; minimal lace.
Mild cream soda & dry yeast notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dry yeast & faint cream flavors; not much too this, but it's not unpleasant.
Forgettable.
