On draft at FM Smoke House in Irving.

Poured with a healthy off white head over a deep/thick amber to orange body. Awesome lacing

Aromas are rich and full - quite sweet and malty, with a boatload of piney hop goodness.

Mouthfeel is thick and sticky - very much DIPA, but not so much English IPA. Flavors are dominated by the bitter and piney hop qualities. Some astringency in the aftertaste. Picked up some strong floral sap towards the end.

A very tasty, and sticky sweet brew.

No freshness date, hmmm

Pours an effervescent crimson with a thumb of tan head. Stays effervescent, impressive lacing & great head retention

S: Bready, a little toffee

T: Toasty, woody hops, dryness, herbal hops, some toffee as well up front. Cakeyness, herbal bitterness & woodyness & a little caramel & some pineyness as this warms, some grapefruit & a little dryness . Finishes dry with woody hops, grapefruit peel & pine

MF: Thick, slight carbonation, pretty nice balance

Drinks easy, not sure how good an example of this is given the lack of freshness dating

A. Amber in color, nice sexy lace
S. Minimal hops smell, some caramel
T. Not as hoppy as you'd expect, but great malty flavors
M. Great velvety mouthfeel, carmelly aftertaste
O. Greatly enjoyed in goblet at mellow mushroom. Not sure why this beer is branded an IPA though, doesn't really taste like one.
