I got this beer out of a self made mixed six pack from Super Target in Frisco. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had pine and citrus flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Bottled date 4/7/17, so I don't expect much from this. Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow color with a 1/2 finger width foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Citrus aroma with some stale piney bitterness. Very malty flavor. Bready with slight citrus and strong, stale, piney bitterness at the end. Seems boozy. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Has a hazy golden color due to the unpasteurized brewing. It didn't smell good, had a spoiled quality. Surprisingly, the taste wasn't bad, a little harsh, with little malt flavor. It has good carbonation and finishes very dry. Not something I could drink often.

I've had a few Revolver beers recently and some of them are really unique and others are not so much. But good brews nonetheless.
This IPA is actually pretty good but it's not an IPA i'd go to if I wanted one. First of all it's priced above some other flagship IPAs, so you'd really need to be a fan to get this one. Example: it runs for about $11 where I am at, for this price I can get Torpedo from Sierra Nevada for cheaper, or Stone, or just anything else really.
With that said. This IPA is "safe", because it doesn't really stand out in any major way. It's not bad but it's not really exceptional. It is also on a malty side. When it gets a little warmer, you can really feel it. I honestly don't think that it's as refined as other IPAs of similar price.
Again, it's not bad by any means, it's just not worth it at this price point. For those wondering, give it a try, it's solid, just don't expect anything mind blowing. Which is actually odd to me. Revolver has Blood & Honey and Sidewinder. Both of these are non traditional ales where they weren't afraid to experiment and throw in some extra ingredients. I wonder why they made this IPA so bland?

On draft. Appearance is deep copper, clear, with a moderate white head and nice lacing. Aroma: Almost nonexistent out of this shaker pint. A touch of toasted malt and citrus hop. Taste: Bready, slightly toasty maltiness, with a strong resinous bitterness and a touch of orange peel citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low to moderate carbonation. Finishes with strong lingering resinous bitterness. Overall: lends itself more toward an English IPA with a bready/toasted maltiness and a resinous bitterness, but doesn't seem to have the malt depth and is more aggressively bitter than a true English version of the style

A unique combination of hops (centennial, citra, apollo, saphir) go through a progression during each sip. Almost no aroma (in my non-fancyschmancy beer mug anyway), but then drinks like a hop-forward IPA. I found it very interesting.

12 oz. bottle poured into tight nonic
(2/3/16 born-on date)
L: gold-bronze, brilliant up to the light with plenty of amber, crystal clear; pushes up thick 1-inch-plus head of offwhite, beige foam that sticks hard, leaves a coat of foam "paint" on wall; also has a thick collar that seems to be lasting and lacing; closing in on perfection
S: hop salad ... citrus notes of candied orange and grapefruit, grass, slight bit of mango/pineapple;
T: grapefruit, orange, a little grass, grain, bitter dirt backing it up; a little onion; the malt is pushing in some sweetness, gives it a slight mango flavor; orange/candied orange in the sweetness
F: full and crisp, lots of carbonation, decent weight
O: solid IPA, nothing fancy or crazy, just a straightforward hop salad with a handful of typical American-hop notes, very little bitterness, just a bit on the backend, and easy drinking. it's under two weeks old, but I can definitely sense a caramely/mangoey sweetness wanting to creep in, which leads me to believe the hops fade quickly ... but that's only a guess -- bottom line: it's good and hits all the right notes.

Bottle from Kroger.
A mildly hazy light orange with a thin white head that falls off rapidly, this looks decent. The nose is a pleasant blend of hops with the perfume and floral notes from Centennial working well with the citrus notes from the rest of the hop bill. The palate opens with a blend of mild malt sweetness, a little caramel like, with a pleasant hop blend, some bitterness that's clean, a blend of citrus and pine, quite clean. Mildly sweet on the finish with soft carbonation, this beer is solid.
