1 Pt, 6 Fl. Oz. bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is roasted malt and cocoa.
The taste is roasted malt, bitter chocolate, with hints of black coffee.
Medium mouthfeel leaning towards full
It is a seviceable stout.

Had this on-tap at Pint Defiance in Tacoma, WA.
It's an oatmeal stout. If you ask more, I'll tell you it's a good version of an oatmeal stout, the major drawback is that it's thin on the tongue and in the mouth. It needs to be thinker, more viscous. As a result, I'd probably call it more porter-y, but, since I'm pretty sure there's some patent malt in there, it's a stout.
Otherwise: good head, yep. good color, yep.
Flavor? Tastes like a stout. I'd like them to bump up the roasted malt, but, that's personal preference, it was within the bounds of what you'd expect.
Quite quaffable, and, if you're in the mood for a smooth-drinking sessionable stout and this is on-tap, grab one and enjoy, especially in the summer. It's simply too thin to be a winter stout.
