16oz undated can.
Pours opaque gold with a full, fluffy head of white. Ropey lacing with nice retention. Juicy and phenolic in the nose. Mango, peach, pineapple, apples and bubblegum. Medium bodied with a creamy, soft mouthfeel. Apples with pineapple, pear, peach, and grapefruit on the palate. Zero malt with minimal bitterness. Finishes with plenty of juicy tropicals and Belgiany esters.
Great beer and what an Americanized Belgian IPA should taste like!

Can poured into fluted snifter.
Hazy straw gold. Foamy, slight hint of off-white head. Head slow to settle.
Aroma includes malt and yeasty esters. Dough, citrus, and pine.
Flavor is yeasty farmhouse first and foremost. Pleasing addition of resinous and citrus hops, not overly hoppy.
Moderate carbonation and a tad over medium body.
Interesting but flavors kind of compete a bit. Not unbalanced, but not sure it all fits together. Still a good brew that I would drink again, but would not seek it out specifically.

The beer comes in a gorgeous hazy medium to deep gold. Glowing ever so vibrant out of the glass like orange cocktail.
The aroma offers mango, orange, sweet Meyer lemon, fresh bread, a spicy and earthy farmhouse quality.
The flavor hits of upfront of freshly squeezed orange juice, pineapple, nectarine, a medium mouthfeel with oats, a bready sweetness, onto a supremely dry and slightly earthy and peppery spicy yeast character, and piney hop bitterness.
The beer interweaves both the New England DIPA with a farmhouse ale.

Hazy light finish , seems like a IPA meets Farmhouse ale. Easy drinking grapefruit notes

Pours a hazy golden color with a light head that dissipates. Smell is hops, a bit of Belgian sweetness. Taste is like a cotton candy (think Westy) and hop blender swirl. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel. You'd have no idea it's 8+ abv

1 PINT can
Served in an oversized wine glass
This beer pours yellow in color and is pretty hazy. It is topped with an inch of white head the disappears quickly leaving no lacing.
The smell is spicy and banana Belgian yeast esters along with some citrus.
The taste is Belgian yeast meets juicy hops. It starts out with the spices one would expect from a Belgian yeast strain. The back end exposes the palate to juicy citrus and tropical fruit flavors. It is a nice marriage between the two.
Medium to moderate mouthfeel. Lower carbonation levels.
Hoof Hearted is the only brewery that consistently tastes better in package form versus fresh on tap. I did not like this beer at all on tap and would have given a lot of it away if not for a guilty conscience. This canned offering is pretty tasty. The label proclaims an "India Style Farmhouse Ale," but it crosses my palate as a Belgian IPA. It is a very solid beer considering my expectations after a pint of it at the can release.

Poured from 16oz can into Guinness pint glass.
L-Pale straw color with some chill haze, no head retention, no lacing
S-Piney hops, light citrus sweetness
T-Vague sweetness, crisp green apple notes, ending with resinous hops and a vegetable like aftertaste
F-Light, crisp, hop resin slowly building as you drink it
Not really tasting anything Belgian in here. Light and refreshing as IPAs go. Quite drinkable.

Pours a cloudy yellow-orange color with a nice white head on top. This one definitely has that orange juice look to it that Hoof is becoming known for. And it tastes juicy too! It's flavor is fresh full of hops, paired with a belgian yeast strain and lemon grass, mango, and orange peel. It has a bite to it, with a certain level of juicy fruit to balance things out.
Great tasting, interesting beer, and it's logo is quite the conversation starter to boot.
