Nice beer. Never heard of the Ohio brewery before. Friend is in the biz and might explain how I tasted this here in Maine. Nice to,have friends in retail stores.

Served on tap at the brewpub for opening weekend. It's their typical turbid appearance, with great citrus and tropical fruits throughout the aroma and aftertaste. This went down was very easily, and I wished I had ordered a larger pour.

Slightly cloudy, light lemon-colored pour. Nose did not jump out right away, but as it warms there is a little peach and a little citrus. Nice subtle taste - quite a few thing going on here, but all in mild doses - a little pineapple, peach, and dank with a very slight bitter hop kick at the end that is very appropriate for this beer. Very clean, very smooth - could crush these all day. Very nice pale ale - I'm a fan.

This one pours an absolutely atrocious and messy orange-ish/greenish color, so turbid, like a weird protein shake. It's super unappealing, honestly. There's a big 1.5 inch head, and lots of lacing.

Once you get by the appearance, this smells absolutely wonderful. Huge zesty grapefruit, pineapple, and mango, just an absurd aromatic juice bomb. There's a little bit of pine, and as it warms, a little bit of 'green" vegetal aroma.

The taste doesn't *quite* match up here, it finishes a little bit watery. It's super juicy up front though, with a very green bitterness, there's some chive, grass, and marijuana. It tastes pretty messy, and it's got a strange combination of thickness AND wateriness, which is very confusing.

This is medium bodied, pretty full up front, but watery on the finish. It's got a normal level of carbonation.

An interesting first beer from Hoof Hearted, it has some issues, but it's overall pretty enjoyable. The way it looks is just so bad, though.

1 PINT can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours yellow and turbid. It is topped with a couple inches of creamy, off white head that leaves some nice lacing.

The aroma is grapefruit and focuses on citrus.

The taste is more citrus than tropical fruit for me. I get a lot of grapefruit. The finish is bitter grapefruit.

Medium mouthfeel

This is a pretty flavorful pale ale.

This was a brewpub-exclusive for the grand opening of the 4th St. location (as of 02/13/2016- might be made again in the future). Hoof Hearted deemed this beer a "party pale." Super couldy and full of citrus fruit notes, it's a light pale ale very reminiscent of their famed IPAs.
