A light and crushy crushy pale for those who are looking to party down. Hopped with Falconers Flight and Australian Galaxy, we're showcasing our new favorite yeast strain formerly classified as a type of Brettanomyces. Since reclassified as a strain of Saccharomyces, it lends tropical fruit characteristics of mango and pineapple.

A good Pale Ale!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer resembles a NE IPA in both appearance and taste. In appearance, it presents a hazy pale yellow color with a frothy white head. Head retention is good and there are thick broken bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste feature malts both dry biscuity and caramel malts and a lot of tropical fruit flavor. The "dankness" associated with NE IPA's is not featured here. Bitterness is fairly moderate. The mouthfeel is crisp and slightly bitter. The caramel malt in the finish smooths things out well. Quite enjoyable!!!!

This is my last beer from my BIF with @Eziel that isn’t super rare or highly rated. Those I’m saving a bit, but rounding out all his “standard” picks for me, we have more from Hoof Hearted. Let’s see what this one is all about

Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of of soapy off white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing

This is vibrant and a bit funky in the nose from the unique yeast strain used. I’m picking up on aromas of orange zest, crackery malt, caramel, lemon zest, cantaloupe, peppery hops, and a touch of white grape

It keeps up nicely in taste and it’s quite good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange juice, tangerine, white grape, crackery malt, floral hops, and light white pepper. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, caramel, orange juice, floral hops, lemon zest, and light white pepper

A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a crisp and refreshing beer. Finishes very dry yet juicy

This one is really tasty and easy drinking. This is something I kinda wished was readily available to me, because I could see it being a regular for me

A: Hazzzzy orange in color, big white rocky head, lacing left on the sides.

S: Smells of fresh bright hops.

T: Like the nose - fresh bright hops. Also mandarin, melon, lemon, orange juice.

M/F: Very refreshing and easy-drinking. Light in body and has a small carb bite, yet it has a stickiness to it. Finishes with hop burst and ripe fruit.

O: Super awesome pale ale from Hoof Hearted! It's just so refreshing and it has all the right components for a great NE PA. Definitely stands out in the pool of NE PAs, at least the ones I've tried.

Really nice pale ale. Quite hazy with a decent off white head. Smells and taste of passion fruit, blueberry and pineapple. Minimum bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking. This one was good. Would have again for sure. Recommended.

Unknown vintage; drank 2/7/20 @ the Yarchives. This was brewed & canned in NY @ Great South Bay Brewery.

Opaque orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge white head; strong, frothy lace.

Lemon, wheat, pine & mild baking soda notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Lemon, pine, baking soda & faint wheat flavors.

Not an abomination, but an fairly average pale ale.

No canned on date.

Hazy gold out of the can, with about an inch of frothy white head that sits on top of the beer. As it diminishes, large amounts of lace retention coat the inside of the glass.

Large aromas of mango and pineapple on the nose, with a presence of sweet grapefruit and malt as well after it opens up. Definitely a unique sweetness to the nose of this beer; something I’ve found more and more often with HHB beers. Definitely would credit some to the seldom-used Falconer’s Flight hop addition.

Much of the same in the flavor profile as the nose. Sweet, with pineapple and citrus really standing out, but also a clear malt influence as well. The hops have a bittering effect on the palate, as well as hints of an herbal/grassy quality that does well to contrast an almost berry-like sweetness that comes out after a minute or two.

Smooth, soft, light-bodied beer. Some residual mouth coating and resin left behind, but good overall.

Dear Hoof Hearted. While trois is now a strain of sacc instead of brett, it still throws the same histamine type compounds brett does. Subsequently your can, not labeled with the yeast used, induced a nice allergic reaction after I drank it. Thanks.
