This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of dark mocha head that leaves virtually no lacing.
I get coffee, chocolate, caramel, and vanilla. The coconut must have faded.
The flavor has faded but is still good. My tastebuds are met with coffee and chocolate. Vanilla is next. The coconut is absent. The chocolate and coffee finish the flavor off.
Full bodied with a thick, chewy mouthfeel
I saw some reviews on Untappd saying their cans were infected. I was concerned for no reason. This can was great. The flavors melded well. the alcohol taste is nonexistent while the effects are real. The coconut faded out of existence which does not hurt my feelings. Enjoyable beer.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This one smells like rich and very roasty coffee, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, chocolate, fudge, and oak.
There isn't a ton of barrel here - perhaps the vanilla is propped up a bit by the barrel, and I do get some oaky char. There's not really any bourbon character. The coconut also is somewhat weak. The coffee and vanilla is done very well though - there's a lot of rich and roasty coffee coming through, and the vanilla sweetness cuts through that pretty nicely.
This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, and rich, with a lower level of carbonation.
I wanted a bit more out of this one, but it's still a pretty tasty stout anyway. It hides the booziness quite well.

Dull black with a fuzzy, thinly bubbled tan blanket.
Girth still manages to be absolutely dominated by tons of smoky charred Foldgers coffee in the aroma, with only the faintest hint of something else, which I'll describe as brown sugar. It smells good, but is way too absurdly one note.
Taste contains a little more barrel propped up by the added vanilla, but is still much the same as the aroma, with charred and smoky roasted coffee and cacao, as hints of maple crop up at temp. Holy shit, it's just a coffee overload. I know Hoof loves their coffee, but god damn man show a sliver of restraint!
The medium-thick body has a sticky dry finish.

This beer is a coffee bomb. It smells like cold brew.
