12 oz. can poured into a snifter.

Yellow color with a 1 inch head that leaves in a minute or so. Decent lacing.

Smells of sweet malt, sweet fruits and some alcohol.

Taste is on the sweet side. Decent fruity hop profile, sweet malt backbone and then...an off putting rubbing alcohol taste. Starts nice but the finish is unpleasant.

Mouthfeel is medium. Lightly carbonated and goes down easy enough.

This seems unfinished. In a world of highly crafted DIPAs this ends up being an average offering. I would have another but I wouldn't bother seeking out.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden with a fluffy eggshell white head that falls leaving very nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are very tropical. Lots of pineapple along with some mango. Some cracker malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose. Lots of tropical fruits. Very juicy. More pineapple and mango along with some fresh pine. Some black pepper is there to give it a mild spiciness. Nice hop flavors with a moderate bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Solid malt backbone without dominating. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's very fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a very nice DIPA. Nice aromas and flavors. This one is a winner. Very enjoyable stuff. Well done. Definitely worth checking out if you come across it.

12oz can dated 17074 poured into a tulip
A: Pale orange with a lingering one-finger head
S: Really nice tangerine/mango with a hint of light wheat
T: The fruits match the nose, adds some herbs/pepper
M: Fairly light on its feet yet a touch of alcohol shows
O: Well-made; definitely a DIPA but hops focus on the fruit

Thoroughly enjoyed form the growler via Jungle Jim's in a snifter. This rather nice DIPA pours a luminous, chill hazed, deep golden color with a moderate head of white foam that subsides to a thick ring, light pool, and light sticky lacing. Nose of mango, bitter hops, and sweet honey malts. Flavors hit all the right notes with mango and light pineapple notes surrounded by dashes of white pepper on all sides, light dough laden malts hit middle palate with touches of honey and fade into the background to a citrus touched mildly bittering hops note. Excellent malt back bone, nice medium carbonation, lightly sticky and oily, with a lightly dry sweet tropical citrus finish. Outstanding.

Worthy of another purchase---this from someone who is in NO ways a hop head, but THIS little beast is worthy to say the least.

Another great brew from a fantastic brewery that I must visit.

Cheers
