Canned 3/16/21
Pours a slightly hazy medium amber color. Thick off white head with good lacing. I could smell the jalapeño as soon as I opened the can. I also get plenty of lime and caramel malt. Taste is very well balanced. Sweet up front with the nice tart lime and a slightly bitter hop finish. The pepper is a background flavor here. Mild heat on my tongue in the aftertaste. If you’re looking for a jalapeño lime beer this one is pretty good.

Poured out of a 12 oz. can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a clear, medium to dark golden color with many streams of little bubbles rapidly and continuously rising to the beer's surface. Has a nice fluffy white head that's well over an inch thick when first poured that settles to solid 1/2 if an inch thick with good retention and very good lacing. Aromas of chili peppers and lime alright, and in a good way too, along with some bready caramel malts. The taste is pretty much the same, with a bready, just slightly toasted, caramel malt sweetness that gives way to some chili peppers spice with a bit of a nice bite and lime. Rounded out with a touch of herbal hops. Nice balance of flavors. The heat burn from the chili peppers is mild overall, and its just there enough to make its presence known during and after each sip. Has a crisp, slightly prickly, also smooth and frothy medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and the spice heat of the chilies sit nicely on the palate in the aftertaste. A good beer here all around. Glad I picked this one up. Would certainly drink again.

This beer is all about marketing. Not a very good beer but a unique twist. One step over a Bud Lught Lime.

From a can. Delivers on the promise of jalapeño and lime. The pepper is ther is the smell and taste, plenty of green vegetable there. Lots of the tart acidic lime too. Heat is very mild. Something just doesn't work for me though. Maybe the lime is a bit too forward. Interesting attempt but I don't need another sixer

It is what it says it is -- jalapeno and lime infused beer. I've had similar beers, and this isn't my favorite one, but I like it. The jalapeno heat is pretty mild, but catches you a hit on the back end. The lime flavor is a bit on the strong side, but compliments the jalapeno well. The base beer is pretty "whatever" -- this beer tastes decent, but it's not one I'd really care to have more than one of at a time.
