Dude, this is good stuff. So happy they put it in cans to enjoy at home. They nailed it. Their hefe and pale ale are amazing as well. Cool beer folk with a great spot to visit.

I bought a can of the North High Milk Stout at Andersons in Reynoldsburg, OH. It poured an opaque black with tan head that is not leaving any lace. The scent is milk chocolate and some roast. The taste is nicely balanced with sweet mat and hints of roast. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it's a very good beer and definitely worth a try.

Enjoyed from a growler from Jungle Jim's in a DFH snifter. This delicious milk stout pours a rich blackish brown with a solid brownish tan head of tight beaded bubbles that dissipates to a thin layer, thick ring, and light lacing. Nose of chocolate, sweet lactose sugars, and a touch of black coffee. Flavors are exceedingly well balanced with a chocolate milk shake flavor up front and on the sides, moderate black bitter coffee notes to the rear, and an ever so mild hop note smoothing this awesome brew out on all sides. Moderately slick mouth feel and moderate carbonation makes this one of the finest stouts I have had this year. This could win awards. Truly awesome.

First brew from North High Brewing we have tried, and if the rest of their selection is as good as this we will make the journey to Columbus VERY soon.

Cheers!

12 ounce can, no canning date that I could find. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like chocolate, lactose, roasted malt and a bit of coffee. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma. It's a mostly sweet chocolately brew with a bit of coffee and burnt/charred malt bitterness to it. Nice and tasty too! Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and coating with a good amount of carbonation. I think it's a good overall milk/sweet stout. This is the first North High brew I've tried, but after drinking this one I'll have to make a point to try some of their other ones now! $9.99 a 6-pack.

12 ounce can
Served in a becker glass

This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of mocha head that leaves some nice lacing.

I get some dark chocolate aroma.

The taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and a little black coffee in the finish.

Full mouthfeel

I don't really got a lot of sweetness as I have in other milk stouts. It is pretty good.

Picked up a single can of this from one of my favorite local shops I go to buy craft beers from. Got a single 12 oz. can for a total of $2.07. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a very dark, practically black, color with a silky looking, tan head that's about an inch thick when first poured. The head fades pretty quickly indeed to a fairly thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with some big, thin, cluster swirls of foam on the beer's surface. Not much lacing here either. Has strong aromas of roasted, caramel malt sweetness along with a nice cocoa smell too. It tastes pretty much like it smells, which is a wonderful thing in this case, with roasted caramel malt sweetness followed by a nice cocoa sweetness and certainly some mil sugars that help to give this beer a nice lactate like quality indeed. Not really any discernible hop flavor here, and that's okay I think. Flavor profile wise, this is one of the best beers of this style I've had in quite along time! Has a slightly crisp and even slightly prickly, mainly smooth and fairly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in the good was well crafted beer ought to be. I quite enjoyed this one.
