A - Clear pale body with three fingers of bubbly head. Retention is decent but lots of nice lacing.

S - Tons of lemony citrus

T - Great West-Coast flavor this East-Coast beer. Lots of fruity citrus hops upfront. Malts are light and doughy.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Somewhat thin yet sticky.

O - Not a bad beer. Somewhat one note, but very drinkable. Very glad to see a very good beer coming out of my home town of Portsmouth.

12 oz. Can "Drink great beer". Words to live by.

A pale golden, straw and orange hued brew. Lots o smallbubbles carbo. A sticky, foam rises and falls slow.

A rather big, fruity, piney hop aroma. Sweet fruits, citrus, pine tree sap, it's all there. Verging on IPA hop aroma. A sweet, base malt gives balance.

The flavor is much more classic pale ale, flashes of the ultimate pale....:Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale.bigger, more robust hops with a killer, sweet, jazzy base malt. Pushing the envelope of Pale Ale aroma and taste. Very complex, big, earthy tones with citrus, piney fruit and plenty of crispy malty balance.

This one is a very crispy, medium to full mouthfeel, long, lush almost dry, earthy fin. Just right. High Grade pale.

This is an amazing pale ale poured either from bottle or tap. Super fruity, hoppy smell. Lacing, head and copper color. Awesome carbonation and smoothness. I'm not a fan of contract brewing but this is a great everyday beer. One of my favorite pales. Cheers.

Nearly perfect & drinkable IPA. Reminds me of a heartier version of what BASS used to be before Budweiser ruined it.

A spectacular representation of what all Pale Ales should look and taste like - incredibly pleased with Great Rhythm Brewing Company.

One of the most explosive beer bottle openings I've ever had. I didn't even get the cap off and the foam spewed forth violently. I lost about a third of the 22 ounce bottle. Surprisingly moderate head of two fingers. It leaves an initial ring of lace, streaks and spots thereafter. Light amber color and cloudy.

Some crystal malt with a dose of iron thrown in is my first impression of the nose. Some cream with a very, very light floral hop touch. Smooth and pleasant.

The flavor features a stronger, but still light hop presence. This comes across as an Amber ale--lots of light toast and modest nuttiness. The swallow does not create a strong bitterness, which in turn creates a shorter aftertaste. Still, it is an easy-to-drink beer. Given the opening, the carbonation is lower than expected (elevated but not like soda). The richer body probably helps a bit.
