12oz short bottle with no date

Look is like an adjunct lager, pale yellow/gold with a small white film. Smell is mild, sweet grain, faint hops, and alcohol. Taste is non-existent at first, followed by sweet corn, grain, and the presence of hops(no real hop flavor). Slightly fruity and bitter in the finish, lemon rind and overripe apple. Feel is the highlight of this beer: creamy, full, but light-bodied.

Decent enough cream ale, worth buying if you find it cheap enough.

Genesee cream ale

A-The beer is a straw- golden color. The pour produces a 1 finger fizzy head that recedes quick and leaves no lacing. 3

Poured from 24oz can into a pint glass.

Appearance: golden-yellow hue with a crystal-clear body and a strong effervescence. Head pours nearly two fingers of pillowy white foam. Nice.

Smell: lightly sweet malt with a moderate graininess and a light adjunct-y character (corn, maybe?). Not too bad.

Taste: light malt with a hint of corny sweetness. Quite appropriate for the style. Hops are mild but there is a light noble quality there and a light bitterness. It's actually a decent little beer.

Mouthfeel: light body with a hearty effervescence. Not bad.

Overall: this is actually a decent cream ale. I call it refreshing and decently tasty. Using "overall" for my drinkability score, this rates pretty good.
