Appearance is perfect. Gold, clear and bright. Fat white head that lasts to streak the glass for a dramatic ending.

Nose is all kinds of orange. Pithy pulpy orange and cool minty herbal. You might think the mint strong or strange with the orange at first but then it makes you think of the perfect orange hanging from the tree with perfect leaves on the branch. Once your nose relaxes form all that excitement it settles to a cool minty herbal The malt is crackery. The citrus is very fragrant. I thought I smelled graham cracker at first and can we say if I did, that would be because of some residual sweetness form the orange? There are spices in it but I do not know which ones and the cracker malt to me seems soft and neutral and then there's lots of delicate spicy flavor. My first impression was creamsickle! This smells just like a creamsickle. The honey is just on the nose.

First taste I was thinking this is different! Then I fell for it. It drinks with a sparkling bubble and a nice malty cracker. The spice does not play too much to the palate but that cool hop sure does. Nothing overshadows the malt. Juicy orange, sparkling bubble. Refreshing. The hop herbal authenticates that orange and it is very cool. Tastes just like a creamsickle! Fresh fruity and light bodied. Subtle malt that does impart too much flavor. It's softly elegant under all that boisterous citrusy fun. The beer grows on you and the more you inhale it's fragrance the more intoxicated you become. This is a fun beer. The honey does not impart and real sweetness or heaviness to the mouthfeel just some depth and texture. it's as though it too has been made crisp by the hops which leave a gently lasting bitterness.

Awesome summer beer. I think the brewer did the main side proud and showed us his personality and love for the region . Cheers Genesee Brew House.

On tap at the Genesee Brew House in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange, with a small creamy head, and a lot of lacing.

Smells like herbal honey, orange peel and orange creamsicle, with some clove and mint flavors that are kinda strong.

This was a pretty good idea, not entirely executed well. There's a weird, possibly not intended mint and clove finish on that detracts from the rest of the beer. If the honey sweetness was stronger, this would be work better for me, but the spicy and minty finish is really a detractor for me. The orange flavor is nice, and pretty dominant.

This is medium bodied, somewhat crisp, with a good drinkability.

This is a pretty fun beer to try, but there are definitely some flaws to it.

Enjoyed from a 12 oz bottle in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Randy!
This unique cream ale pours a clear golden amber with a nice head of white foam that
settles down to a thick ring, light pool, and shows light subtle lacing. Nose of orange
zest, moderate grain notes, light cracker notes, and subtle herbal notes mingling with a
touch of hops. Flavors follow the nose with orange zest and medium balanced grain flavors
that are lightly creamy like a subtle orange push up pop. Light cracker and subtle herbal hop
notes finalize the taste. Nice mouth feel; medium high carbonation is lively and refreshing
with a medium light body and a lightly sweet orange touched finish. Overall a SOLID summer
brew perfect for a nice BBQ or spicy foods.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is as advertised, honey and oranges. Taste is orange peels, spices, a touch of honey, very refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a unique take on this style, and a solid beer.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and poor lacing. Smells of vanilla, slight orange, slight sweet malt, and hint of cinnamon. Fits the style of a Cream Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of vanilla, slight sweet malt, orange, hint of cinnamon, and a hint of citrus hops. Overall, weak appearance, poor blend, but good body.

From a twelve ounce bottle, this brew is a completely clear golden colored liquid. The head is slim and white and the aroma has a serious orange aroma. The flavor does have some cream soda like qualities, with a bit of vanilla pale malt. Light and refreshing...fruity and drinkable.

Poured from draft at the 585 Burger Bar. No surprises here. It had a golden hue and smelled like an orange creamcicle. Tasted of orange with a slight bitterness. Will be one of my summer go to beers this year.

Been drinking this off and on for a few months now and I think Genesee has a real winner here.
