Poured into a mug,
The appearance was a fairly nice looking dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of white foamy to bubbly head that softened at a mild pace. Some lace ran here and there.
The aroma had a fine blend of roasted coffee beans and grounds with some dark fruits and a mild dark chocolate nib-like bitterness.
The flavor was mildly sweet with a fair roastiness rolling all about. Nice aftertaste of the dark fruits and dark chocolate with some toast/dark bread.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied - seemed a bit more sessionable on the body for a stout to me. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Fairly smooth sort of finish with a mild roastiness.
Overall, aromas and flavors were very nice for an English stout, but seemed just a touch under in body. Still, it would probably be one that I would have again.

Easy drinking & flavorful stout with coffee & caramel flavors coming through nicely.

Pours a soapy, tan head. Aroma is acidic, roasted malt. Black color. Starts with toasted malt and a touch of biting acidity. Moves into a very coffee-like flavor as the grainy hop bitterness melds with the toasted malt. Finish is grainy hops and toasted malt with an undertone of coffee.
This ain't too shabby. It's a bit thin for my preferences, but it has an overall nice flavor profile.
