Pours a golden clear with a puffy white head that has decent but not great retention that also provides some solid side glass lacing.

Aroma: Nothing too prominent but I do get faint notes of bready malts and some distant spicy hops. Also earthy musky notes.

Taste: Again, malts noted but they are thin and hops are much the same.

Has a clean, dry finish. The beer is decent but needs some added punch, as in personality.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This easy drinker pours a bright and clear amber touched yellow with a very nice head of white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin layer, and nice lacing. Nose of sweet malts and grassy/herbal hops. Flavors follow the nose but are washed out by the hop blast that is heavy, oily, and bitter banging the malt into submission. The mouth feel is pleasant enough with medium high carbonation and a clean finish. A good brew to bring to a hot summer BBQ. Other than that it is the lesser of the brews in the mix 12 pack.

Dundee Pilsner | Genesee Brewing Co. / Dundee Brewing Co. Poured from the bottle into a pint glass, tis brew's head is two fingers thick, with spotty lacing, and a clear light golden body.

I smell bright, grassy grains with a touch of floral, slightly zippy hops.

Tastes like a smooth, balanced blend of the aforementioned components. Also a light biscuit malt makes an appearance before the taste's zing at the end.

The mouthfeel I'm picking up is light with fair carbonation. Very crisp and clean.

Overall, I'll rate Dundee Pilsner | Genesee Brewing Co. / Dundee Brewing Co. with a 4. Part of the Dundee variety pack, I'd probably still pick this up on its own during the summer months.

Poured from a 12-oz bottle from a WalMart $9.99 sampler pack. Smooth and very drinkable, goes down easy on a warm day, but nothing special taste-wise. Inoffensive but nothing you'd go out of your way to find.

Golden straw pour, with a 2 finger head complete with fluffiness. Lace is sparse.

Aromas of dry straw and prairie grass, slight fruitiness from esters.

Has a nice bready flavor to it, with the straw and a dusting of spaltz hop behind it. A touch spicy. Ends clean but has a bit of a grainy aftertaste.

Feel is crisp, a bit too creamy for my liking in a pilsner. Finishes clean.

I had to fight hard to keep from raving about this one, I mean...it's really not bad in any aspect. I'd drink it again, and it goes down easy. These Dundee beers have been a bit on the malty side but that's something I enjoy, so I've been pleasantly surprised.

A light amber colour with a fresh air sort of smell. Tastes slightly crisp bitterness with light citrus notes. Feels smooth and refreshing going down. This beer would be nice on a warm summer day or whenever. Overall decent beer.

Part of sampler pack.

L- light gold color, can see right through it. Thin white head dissipates quickly.
S- faint citrus notes
T- a little bitter, citrus notes
F- kind of thin, but not more than you'd expect. I could easily chug a few of these.

Definitely nothing memorable, but a pretty decent beer.

Seemed like a variety pack filler. Did have some complexity for it had a slightly citrusy and bitter bite you don't ever get from cheap pilsners and didn't toy with an overbearing, coying malty flavor, but overall a pretty straightforward brewski.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 12/8/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear bright golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Moderate earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nicely clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good German pilsner style. All around good balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
