I've said before that I'm not impressed with Dundee, it holds true here. There pilsner, was, however, less offensive and really just bland. Not a whole lot of clean herbal flavor, which I like in a pilsner. Somewhat watered down and too sweet. Nice carbonation, however, and rather refreshing. Easy to drink, but not really worth drinking. More of a pale adjunct lager in most regards.

12oz bottle kindly gifted - thanks Dave - poured into conical pint glass

Straw colored, wispy, rapidly dissipating white head, moderate carbonation apparent

Very clean aroma: mineral water, white bread, soda crackers; if I'm not imagining, a glimmer of noble hops. Good pils smell.

Slightly sweet up front. Quality pils malt, mingled with a very pleasant floral and herbaceous hoppy flavor and moderate bitterness. I wish it finished (and even started) somewhat dryer, though.

Good drinkable mouthfeel, not too thick or thin, gets the job done. The excessive sweetness gives a slightly "sticky" impression on the finish, though.

Overall a very solid European-style pilsner, exceptionally clean and distinct flavors, just could use a bit more dryness especially in the finish.

This is a very Nice Pilsner. It's not Pilsner Urquell by any means, but for a Adjunct Brewery, it's quite a nice entry with a crisp flavour, nice head lacing lazily, and a nice hop effervescence.
Compared to the bigger and more heavily commercialized American Brewers, it's a step ahead of Miller/Coors. It's also nice that they give you a nice craft pack choice with beers that aren't en Vogue. For 10$(US)) it's well worth it. I've reviewed the IPA from the same Craft pack (12-Bottle-4 style entries) and this is quite a crisp clean pleasing flavour.
Nice Job Dundee/Genesee Brewery.
