Flavors of chocolate, caramel, dried figs and yeasty bread. Medium-to-full-bodied with moderate carbonation and a rich, clean and silky finish.

Wow, surprisingly good with lots of flavor and depth. Much more than I was expecting from a brown ale. Tried this one on tap at Grand Rapids Brewing Company. Pours a nice deeper brown-amber color with a little white head and some nice small rings of lingering lacing. Smells of some milk chocolate mocha, medium roast coffee, caramel, roasted nuttiness, bread and malt. Tastes similarly, but the flavors are so smooth and well-blended and balanced. Smooth, mild mouthfeel, good carbonation. Really an excellent beer!
