A: The color is slightly hazy golden while the thick, medium tall head is off-white. Slow dissipation leaves nice lacings.

S: Rich tropical fruits, from the floral hops; pineapple, grapefruits, ripe oranges and some faint lemons. caramell malts, bready, but also a bit too light.

T: Not far from the smell, but a bit more rough in every way. The bitter hops dominates!

M: Long bitter aftertaste. Body is medium while carbonation is on the milder side.

O: Well, this is nothing to write home about. It has most of what you could expect but it never turns interesting.

The colour is gold-amber (22 EBC), the liquid is clear. The two finger off-white head sinks without leaving much lacing.

The smell is very hoppy, and quite bitter. Dry notes of lemon peels, grapefruit, bitter oranges. Some resin and pine needles. Some alcohol and hints of solvents (or is it just the hop oils?). It is fresh with some sweet biscuits and caramel/toffee notes.

The taste is quite bitter, more like an AIPA than an APA. Notes of wood, tobacco leaves and green plants. Citric notes, mostly lime and orange peels. Resin and juniper wood. The body is medium, a bit thin for the strength and style. The aftertaste is a bit earthy with passing hints of smoke. Dry hints of hops. Some citric notes and caramel. The finish is a bit bitter.

The carbonation is medium strong, the short-lived bubbles small. The liquid is smooth.

Some odd flavours. Not as bitter as I had expected, still quite bitter for an APA. I had expected more.
