What a great new Italian/pizza restaurant. I walk in and there is a rectangle island bar in front. Tables are scattered about, and sectioned off, complete with a spacious patio out back. The vibe is great, low key but still a bit upscale, well I guess trendy would be a better word. The service is very prompt, friendly, and welcoming. Not everyone was as knowledgeable on the beer selection, but they will track someone down who can help. A really good start.

The selection is not going to wow anybody here, though like BRC and Shepard Park there is a really good and thought out beer menu. 24 taps, with no crap on tap. Live Oak Hefe, a handful of Karback, and Saint Arnold Ellissa on cask. Also plenty of other national brands as well. Victory Golden Monkey, Real Ale Devils Backbone, St. Feuillien Brune. All with correct temps and glassware. They do growlers to go as well. Though you have to buy one of their growler, and that can obviously be brought back. I don't think they will fill something from another brewery or bar however.

Now, on to the food...Again, a very well thought out menu. There are about 8 different pizzas that are really well made. I had the Blue Southern Bell Pizza (Gorgonzola, Peach, Arugula, Basil and Texas Sweet Tea Syrup) with Prosciutto. Awesome. Though this is not just a pizza place. Plenty of other options on the menu as well. Unlike other pizza joints with other stuff on the menu that seem like an after thought, these guys really care about everything. The sandwiches look great as do the pastas and large plates. I can't wait to come back and try some more.

An excellent restaurant in the Heights with a well thought out beer selection. A place I will be visiting more often.
