Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.50%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
Formerly Rhombus IPA

Wilson, formerly known as Rhombus, is like an IPA that grew up in Malibu. Citrus, tropical and pine, its sunny and breezy with a subtle malt backbone. But don’t let that laid back vibe fool you, it packs a strong hop flavor that will have you California dreaming.

Poured from a 12oz can with no distinguishable dating; into a pub glass.
Appearance- gold, plenty of noticeable floating sediment and swirling bubbles that maintain a medium-thin white head; lacing is fantastic!
Smell- some orange peel, kiwi and floral notes.
Taste- mandarin oranges, kiwi and some floral hops.
Feel - mild body; a touch too sweet as the sweetness takes the bitterness down.
Overall- nice beer, but nothing that separates it from the many, many other IPA’s out there.

Clear, light yellow body; lots of fine carbonation; dense, creamy, white head. Light scent of lemon bread; berry-like esters. Well-balanced malt and hop flavors; light grain base; prominent hop bitterness; delicate lemon tones. Medium body; crisp and clean; dry finish.

Wyoming continues to produce some fine beers. This offering from Jackson Hole is tasty, zesty, and punchy, balanced and nuanced throughout.

12 ounce bottle, bottled October 10th 2017. It pours a slightly hazy pale straw gold with lots of foam forming an impressive head. Sticky lacing? Yep. Big aromas of grapefruit with pine not far behind. It's pleasing to the nose. Tastes like it smells, with a very hop oils sensation. Lingers on the tongue like forever, which is cool. Medium body with medium carbonation and a long lasting aftertaste. So fresh, so good. So Wyoming.

Poured out a golden yellow color with a one-finger, white head. It smelled very citrusy and piney. Sweet citrus flavor with a sharp bitterness and a touch of caramel.

Poured on tap at the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill in Jackson. Thin head, very light but plant nose, very refreshing and not overly hoppy. Very drinkable. Great after a day on the slopes.
