Formerly Rhombus IPA
Wilson, formerly known as Rhombus, is like an IPA that grew up in Malibu. Citrus, tropical and pine, its sunny and breezy with a subtle malt backbone. But don’t let that laid back vibe fool you, it packs a strong hop flavor that will have you California dreaming.

16oz can. Stamp on bottom lip reads 'CANNED ON 08/23/23'.
Cloudy, straw colored body. Strong two finger white head, which becomes islands and a high ring. Leaves behind rings and webs of lacing.
Aroma of citrus and pine.
Taste is orange, grapefruit, and pine. Good level of bitterness, but also has some sweetness. Aftertaste trails off quickly.
Medium mouth feel. Dry finish. Very good carbonation.
Combo IPA with sweetness, bitterness, kind of a soft texture, and cloudy appearance. Okay to try.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight whilst in Jackson, Wyoming during a family vacation to the Tetons and Yellowstone. The beer poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had grain and citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

This IPA was a fun surprise. It has a strong citrus aroma that really explodes in flavor. Sweet, citrusy, slightly piney. Good carbonation and piney hops on the finish. I’m not the biggest IPA guy but I’m a big fan of this.

A Microbrewed Beer Club offering. Pours a hazy gold color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is citrus with a hint of grapefruit. Taste is citrus with a slight bit of hoppy bitterness. Not overly bitter like a lot of IPAs.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, yellowish-toned body with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Atop the passing, mild maltiness are lightly floral, contemporary muskmelon notes with touches of herbs, pine sap and a lemon-lime citrus blend.
Taste: Modestly malty, a crackery, grainy quality with some restrained sweetness and light hint of wheat. As with the nose, it leads floral and melony, trailed by citrus, pine and snappy herb. Medium bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: A decent IPA.

L- Cloudy pale orange beer with floppy foam head and moderate lacing
N- Butterscotch and orange notes - is this a diacetyl defect ?
N- Tastes like butterscotch and slight orange like citrus with a sweet aftertaste. Very little hops present with a more dry note on the finish.
M- A bit slick and close to oilyness to the mouthfeel. The finish leans to the dry side.
O- I feel the beer is too sweet and butterscotch candy like with an almost butyric acid note. This beer is a drain pour for me.

Hazy, light gold color. Head is speckely, lacey, and clings to glass. Smells of soft pine, citrus hops, lemon, sea salt. Taste follows, with a fantastic balance of piney hops, lemon citrus, and a honey finish. The ABV is hidden, and carbonation is near perfect for me, not over powering but lively. Overall, this is a damn refreshing, easy drinking IPA, definitely going on the rotation for when I don’t want to be beaten over the head with hops but still want an IPA.
