i think this is woefully underrated, its one of the more unique beers going right now, and even if you dont like the botanical heavy nature of it, you have to appreciate its newness and its creativity and execution. just a delightful brew, and one of the first real spanish crafts i have had. rosemary and rosemary honey are the two unique ingredients in this slightly hazy straw to honey colored brew. it holds a vibrant white head that separates into airy lace, and the beer appears to sparkle despite its cloudiness. radiant carbonation is evident. the aroma and flavor are a lot alike, a simple, pale grain base giving a cereal backing to a unmistakable rosemary presence. not a delicate ingredient, and not a delicate flavor, its bold for sure, but its also reserved in the sense that it doesnt totally dominate the brew. probably steeped like tea on the hot side, although its tough to guess the technique. the honey side of things is great, one of the more raw, waxy, whole comb honey flavors i can remember in a beer, and carrying the rosemary away from the savory and into the sweet, a cool transition, but the beer is dry and insanely carbonated, so its a very strange palate excursion. as unfamiliar as any beer going, its totally foreign to my palate, and although i have had a couple of beers with rosemary before, nothing on this level of quality or even close to it. impressed with this brew very much, and would like to get my hands on some more of their stuff. epic as a food beer in the right setting i have to imagine, but it did not need a gourmet context to be special. usually i need beers like this in small doses, but i could have done this whole bottle by myself no trouble at all. a must try i think, and the price was really fair!

750 ml. bottle. Pours a small head that fades soon, but there's a lace all the time until you finish. Sediments are cre clearly visible. Smells like walking through a forest: pine, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus... Fresh and creamy palate, dry finish and taste again of forest, rosemary dominates but with notes of almost of the plants you can think. Exceptional, IMO.

A - clouded gold/orange with a white head that did not fade out right away (lasted to the end of my glass). The lacing was thin but what showed up stayed with the glass.

S - sweeter ale with some earthy notes from the rosemary honey. Nothing overpowered as this was well balanced.

T - Sweet honey notes just over the ale flavor. The hops do not stand out at all but instead support the flavor.

M - mild carbonation lets me enjoy this without excessive bubbly. Numerous beers should take note of this. The balance of the malt with the hops with the honey is good. It is not jumping around rather flowing through and nicely so.

D - Yes, yes and yes. This is one to figure out how to make around here and see what we come up with.
