Large, well lit, open layout with nice northwest wood tables with chairs or benches, a few booths, long bar along one end. The brewing equipment can be seen in through windowed walls when arriving from the rear entrance from the parking lot. Two TV screens but they are not intrusive (I'm not a fan of TV's in bars and restaurants and these did not bother me). In three visits, have had cheerful, friendly waitstaff and reasonably fast service. They also can accommodate large groups in the lower level with banquet food and a bar. Over 20 taps, mostly Elliot Bay brews and many brewed on site, and some guest taps, offering a great selection of good beer. Bottles of pedestrian domestics and imports also available, but more typical mass market brands. Food has is upscale pub with a variety of burgers, salads, appetizers and sandwiches. Everything I've had there was well prepared and generous portions. I particularly like their aioli dipping sauce that comes with several dishes and most recently had the cod tacos, which are great. The tap brews are all solid, none really mind blowing, but everything I've had was well made and tasty. This is a very popular spot in the area and a common meeting spot for work lunches. Recommended.

I've been to the Elliott Bay in Lake City a few times now, and stopped in yesterday for lunch and a brewski. The place is great -- new, clean, good atmosphere, brewery in the back, everything.

While this is not Elliott Bay's main facility, there is a brewery in the back and every time I've been here I can peek through the windows and see someone working. The restaurant/bar itself is pretty modern with lots of open space and wood everywhere; despite the open space, though, it has a very neighborhood feel.

There are something like twenty or twenty-five taps, mostly with Elliott Bay offerings but also with guest taps. This last visit, there were 4 or 5 ciders on tap, which I thought was pretty cool. While I was in there with some buddies having a couple pints, the bartender overheard us talking about the various brews and offered information about what we were drinking and even gave us a couple free samplers of one of their rarer beers -- just because we were discussing it. Really good altogether.

I will without-a-doubt be returning to Elliott Bay Lake City. The food is good, the beer is good, and the service really is outstanding. What else do you need?
