A very smooth and crisp Oktoberfest. At first pour reveals a nice amber color more similar to a American Oktoberfest. Displays nice bread and doughy aromas, which is backed up by taste. Smooth to the finish and refreshing.

S:Strong bready aroma at the pour, fades leaving a lighter spicy aroma
T: Toasted grain and spice, sharp and dry, low bitterness
F: Medium-light body, very crisp
O: A sharp, dry and well attenuated O’fest, not bad.

From the pint can, it pours a clear amber color with a nice head that slowly reduces. In the nose, it is lightly scented with malt with caramel notes. The taste is slightly malty with notes of caramel.

There is a date printed on the bottom of the can but it is on the edge and can't be read.
Appearance: The body is golden-brown with very good clarity. It has a large fluffy head that is slightly off-white with a very light tan hue. Average head retention and not much lacing.
Aroma: It is very difficult to pull an aroma from this beer. Getting very close and drawing very deeply there is a light, spicy hop character.
Taste: Up front there is a very mild sweet malt flavor with a bit of noble hop character. Towards the middle there is some nuttiness and a light earthy and spicy hop character with a bit of pepper and mint.
Mouthfeel: The body feels smooth and medium-bodied with a slippery texture.
Overall: It is a good tasting beer and although it doesn't have much of an aroma it will still be enjoyable enough to drink. It wouldn't be my first pick for a US brewed Oktoberfestbier but it is a good beer. I could drink a couple of them from time to time.

Poured a finely compact 1/3 inch white head of foam that dissolves out with a crisp gold-amber color. Scent is very pleasant, with a sweet and malty primary with notes of toast as a secondary. Feel is delightful: very smooth and medium to full bodied. Taste follows the smell well, with maltiness throughout and a bit of sweetness on the end. Not as a crisp as other octoberfest beers I have had this season, but definitely one to try for a smoother take on the style.

Can dated 8/9:
A clear amber offering, the head doesn't get too crazy on a moderate at best pour. A thin ring is the remnants, and forms quickly enough to be a little disheartening. No lacing.
The nose isn't too strong - moderate to a little lighter - but has a nice caramel malty sweetness with some spiced bread as the main component. The taste follows suit, with a nice balance of malt and spiced bitterness. The bread note doesn't really come through as very forward. There's a little tang in the middle that is almost sourdough-like when putting it in the context of thinking about bread. A light and easy feel, the beer rolls over your palate, imparts its flavors, and then exits.
Straightforward and leaning malty, but fairly balanced. Little spice aspect to the otherwise neutral bitterness.

Poured a light copper color with two finger head that died quick but left little lace. Picking up some sharp hoppiness but not much of a malt aroma to speak of. Taste/mouthfeel is more of the same as there is some lively carbonation so it finishes crisp/clean and has a touch of spice, so to say, on the finish. However, balance is off and there is very little malt base to speak of, so the beer is not watery but there is no breadiness or sweetness. An alright beer but one I wouldn't seek again. (ABV was not listed but I would guess in the 5-5.5 range)
