On tap @ The Boulevard, Murfreesboro TN.
Appearance: dark amber mahogany with 1 finger white head
Smell: not much aroma, some bready notes with a sweet touch to it
Taste: pleasantly hoppy, not expecting that. Very earthy resinous tones, subtle fruitiness, very sweet. Some sort of subtle wood/oak aftertaste as well.
Mouthfeel: pleasantly carbonated and very full bodied
Overall: very surprised, first beer from local Mayday and it surpassed expactations. Great full bodied hoppiness in an amber ale thats very well balanced.

Poured a deep ruby color with a half inch off white head atop, good rich color and clarity to the body.Aromas of caramel, chocolate, and some earthy hops that a little sharpness to them.Flavors of chocolate and brown sugar with more caramel upfront with a earthy spicy chinook finish.A solid amber big malts but a nice hoppy finish.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear amber with no head and no lace. The scent was fairly non-descript. The taste leaned bitter with a citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was ok.

Served on tap at the brewery it poured a reddish hue with a clear complexion and a fizzy off-brown head. This laced very well.
The scent tends toward the roasted malt but is weak and on the side of watery.
The flavors are roasted malt, nutty kilned barley and a touch of smokey grain. There is a bit more hops than usually served in a red but it's a gentle pine or floral flavor.
The feels somewhat thin and does not lay heavy on the palate. It has an easy drinkability but needs a little more fullness ad solidity.

Good beer. Pours a nice ruby red lightning brown hue. Nose is light toffee. Taste toffee malt up front, light grassy hop character, a touch of toasted malt, caramel. Nice lingering toffee character. Good beer

Little to no scent. Initial taste is in-remarkable, might. Aftertaste for me was genuine vomit. I tasted vomit. Perhaps not everyone's pallet will taste that...unfortunately I did.
