Packaging: Growler
Glassware: Balloon Glass
Purchased: Filled at Bluegrass Beverages, Hendersonville
Clear and bright copper-colored beer, with an offwhite head standing maybe 2 and a half fingers high. Both lacing and head retention are very good.
Aromas have floral and earthy hops, with some supporting bready malts.
The taste is moderately hoppy and bitter, with a faint sweetness of honey malt.
Mouthfeel has a medium body and pretty high carbonation. The finish is mainly bitter from hops, with some vegetable aftertastes that I don't care for.
Overall a pretty good pale ale.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of malt. The taste was malty to start then turned bitter...to me more English leaning. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's probably an acquired taste for pale ale lovers.
