A brewery at an old train depot that is a very friendly place that I was able to talk to a couple workers about the beer and were happy to talk about what was available. I thought the Huntington IPA and Manhattan Rye were a couple of good beers. They change the beere menu often and so far most beers I had were good to very good, but nothing that makes me pick a must have everytime I go there. I had a couplke of their was one with different type of pork meats with some spicyness and the other had hot spices and peppers on it. Both were really good and flavorfull. They have a variety of 14 different beers in which only 2 are year round and they have many different flat bread pizzas. Still working on trying more stuff here. I do like coming here and is a nice relaxing place to make a stop for a beer or two.

Nice converted Railroad station with a scenic look at Boardman Lake. Plenty of outside seating. They have flatbread Pizza. The samplers we had were good, especially the stouts and Porter. Newer brewer has the chops.

Visited the Filling Station on a semi-rainy day. Didn't get other see much of the interior of the place, as we walked in and we're immediately seated outside by the train tracks. Location gets an immediate 5. Besides being able to eat and drink on the platform of the old Depot, across the tracks is an attractive park, and Boardman Lake. Great view. A train rumbled by while we were there, and a few kids at the table next to us placed pennies on the tracks for souvenirs. Stuff I did as a kid.

On the platform are picnic style tables and a bar you order your food at. Better like pizza and salads, cause that's what they've got. Tried the spicy beer cheese, it was all right. Someone at our table got a salad. Wife and I got the Burlington Northern,(okay) two of my kids got a pepperoni to split,(okay) my in-laws got the B. L Tizza(awesome) , and the youngest got Mac and Cheese. It was boxed Mac and cheese, and it was $3.50.

Beer was good to great. Highly recommend getting drinks and enjoying the atmosphere and view. If you gotta eat, B.L.Tizza the way to go.

Menu limited to pizza and salads. Unique pizza combinations cooked in a stone oven. Have to place order at the bar but they bring it out to your table when ready. Enjoyed the Spartan pizza!

went to this establishment with the misses on vacation. it was either here or shorts but having been to shorts
the past 4 years I wanted to change it up. the place is not to bad. pizza is good. wouldn't come
close to rating it the best. the portion size is alil skimp. 14 bucks for a thin ^ss 12 or 14" pizza.
salad wasn't mind blowing. after reading some reviews I have to laugh. we split a Caesar which
is romaine, parm, crouts, and Caesar dressing. does that sound mind blowing or something that
is unique or different to other caesars out there? the vibe is alright. the layout was alright. the
biggest miss for me tho is this place is NOT FOR HOPHEADS!! unless you like just a bitter beer
without flavor being malt or hops. I tried all 4 ipa's they had on tap and they all tasted the same.
I've had homebrews that would take a dump on theirs. for being in traverse city I feel there's
just too many spots to make this a destination. I've been here once and probably won't return.
and yes I regret choosing this place over shorts.

p/s/ I don't want to come off as a d$ck. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I asked
a woman who seemed to be in charge if she could tell the brewer when he makes ipa's if he could put
more hops in the @ss end for some flavor and aroma. she told me he was her brother in law or something and
that he brews in a English style and their style is unique from what others are doing.
